Need a map where both dropships are north so that more battles happen north and neither side has a south advantage. It's fine having a slight north advantage. People favor playing south parts of the map because it seems "easier" to play from the bottom perspective.

We should try to branch out from the traditional square box shaped maps and try something like a Y shape. Where both dropships are at the tips of the Y. Obviously not a skinny Y but something large enough not to get bottle necked. I wish I could get the fucking map editor to work.

Obviously it's hard to convey what I mean with paint but that's the general idea. The scale would be a lot larger so the drop ships at the top aren't actually that close together to remove spawn rape. It would look a lot better if I could actually use the map editor and fill it in with real stuff to get my point across. This would be the type of map where warp points could shine.

I had to do a double take after r's comment.

Looks like the J-Lo dress.

Without warps, a lot of the battles will be at the boobs. With the warps, everyone's goes straight south. No foreplay.

I like a v2 type layout with the bases being in the same location n/s to keep it balanced

Well the pic does no justice but all the openings that armor said to put in are in except the drop ships. Having those openings I think are useless because literally no one would try to go north/south from there.. people are lazy and dont want to go around the ds just to do that.

i'd rather play on a symmetrical map. bomb's map way too easy for collie for angles
