Our apologies for the delayed announcement. As most of you have probably surmised, the start date for Season 8 will not be the 24th. Due to the small number of squads that are ready for the season, we'd be jumping the gun to start it so soon.

Sunday the 31st is our projected start date. We currently have 3 squads (Definitely not snakes, Fear, and Rejects) that are ready to participate in the upcoming season. Road House will hopefully be ready soon, and maybe Kippa isn't trolling this time?

Assuming Road House fills up quickly, and Kippa doesn't fade again, we will need one more squad for a competitive season. No one wants a bye week, and 6 squads seems to be the minimum to keep things varied. We have the interest and activity to field 6 competitive squads, but we've a lack of Captains willing to make it happen. We encourage anyone who believes they can create a competitive team to do it, and do it soon.

As of now, there is no opinion from the head staff regarding a salary cap increase. We can only make an informed decision after seeing how many free agents remain when the squads are almost done forming.

The rules are undergoing a change, and will be finalized soon. We are updating the rules to simplify them, and reduce as much vague and unnecessary wording as possible. Look for a news post regarding them in the next few days.
