Hey everyone. I'm just posting to let everyone know I'm going to try and start a OvD league again. I know, broken record, it's been tried 3 times since the first season and has failed. With that being said, were gonna take a little different approach to it this time, and start small. We are going to try and appeal to people who aren't playing so much right now and get them in our zone and focus more on the public play, rather than OvD'ing all te time. The way I picture it is like USL, in the sense that they have public play and then squads sb, or in our case OvD rather than the typical everyone logs in and the same 10 people play, making it not fun for others in spec.

There's four captains right now that have said they are willing to put time in, recruite and help train players. All captains have agreed to try and bring back people who they'd typically play with but don't play because PL is dead. As captains, our goal is to bring a population back and help people who want to play learn. With that being said, were not saying that people will be left out, current active players will be encouraged to play as well. Just for right now, we're going to aim for 10 players a squad, so 40 people total - doesn't sound too hard, right? Once those 40 slots are full, we will up the rosters and continue from there.

Captains have also agreed to not "stack" or place too many talented/experienced players on one squad. Now I get it, people wanna play with friends etc and that's very well still possible, but we're going to be very mindful when picking rosters. Everyone will get to play, so don't worry about that. The four captains are:

District
Law
Dinobot

Everyone on this list is a very good captain with the exception of myself. We all are going to be active and wanting to teach you guys. We are going to create an active atmosphere and even new people will get play time. I want to note the fact that zmn isn't a captain this season, so sabotage, stacking, ect shouldn't be expected.

I believe once we start reaching out to players to get them back to the site and our squads fill up a little bit, there will be enough players on to play games, gladiators and other events pretty quickly. Don't expect it over night, but once the word is lit that we're giving it another shot, we should see activity. Any players who want to help out in anyway, please pm myself or dp in game or on site. You can never have too much help. Zmn is going to start spamming people again, and flooding his Facebook. We look forward to seeing you in pub soon, and participating in CTFPL.

We're having some important discussions about the future of CTFPL and somewhat of FI itself, and I hate to be a nag but not having post edit functionality is really hampering things. Why was it removed, again? Is there any alternative?

Albert, I actually understand you. I too wanted to play this season, but because of limitations brought on by the USL staff I was unable jump through all the hoops (thanks r). It's not just me, I hope you realize that. I am the only one that is vocal and cares enough to say anything.

Unfortunately I will not be playing this season because of all the hoops I have to jump through. I'm too fat and its physically impossible. I will however continue to post saying I care about the game while making a squad and telling everyone its not actually a squad shortly before the season is suppose to start. Just so I can get more time to complain about the game I care so much about.

This salary cap system is the devil, I can't play with my "friends" and I sure as hell ain't playing against them! Even though I made a competitive squad (minus hustler) and spend more time on this site than anyone else I sure as hell ain't playing another season unless I get my way.
