Good evening everyone,
We are still on track for the season starting November 20th, 2016. Dave is posting the schedule in a separate thread and in captains forums. Please look out for this*
1) Length of the season:
In regards to this upcoming season we have decided to extend our normal regular season times two. Each squad will play each other twice this season with a bye week for one squad per week. We have decided to double the length due to activity of the league; with the holidays around the corner the continued off weeks are hindering the league more than helping.
2) Captain's Forum
One of the Administrators (Fausto,Fax and or Dave) Will be available on mumble-- Wednesdays at 9:00 PM Est to all captains of the current squads. This will be used as an open mic for ideas, input and/or criticisms about the league on a weekly basis.
3)Weekly Recognitions
We will be recognizing players on a weekly basis based of certain criteria(s). We will do this by posting to the front page of USL site and creating a topic where the rest of the league can chime in. *Position potentially available*
4)Refering Matches
While activity has been low, we would like to still have active referees this season. Infinite did an outstanding job last season and we look for players like him and others to continue to step up. If whatever reason we do not have a ref available, the captain(s) of the squads playing will be responsible to reffing the match. *Note: There will be a head staff member in the match chat as a mediator.
5)Roster Lock
Roster lock is scheduled for January 2nd, 2017.
6) Holiday (Sunday's off)
Thanksiving Week November 27th, 2016
Christmas Week December 25th, 2016
7) Refeerees
Distrikt - Head Ref
Infinite - Senior Ref

8) Media Personnel
We are looking to add value to this game by continuing the weekly media driven posts players like Yoshi, albert, mecca, champion, Darth, bring to our game. Some examples are: Squad breakdowns, SL Live, (youtube videos from darth), interviews are all ways the public gets engulfed in the game we enjoy. Albert has already committed to assisting with editing on videos/audio (Thank you in advance) There are opportunities for others to help with hosting, analyzing and/or providing content. Please contact myself, Dave, fairfax or Albert
