To me this is the most exciting match of the playoffs we have a reinvigorated PG after recruiting yosh and sov against that scumbag dave and a slightly talented group. Both teams have played well in the regular season but will they be able to follow through in the playoffs? I know one player specifically that cant do it.... cough y
Pussy Grabbers:
Starting with the favorite in this match up you have in my opinion the squad with the best leadership in the game. I listened in on last nights match and too many people were trying to lead. Best bet is to let yosh set everyone up and sov will micro from there. I don't see yosh losing to dave in this epic infantry showdown between seeds 2 and 3. I do see PG taking the map choice and going with apollos map.
Projected line up:
A brain dead buffalo: yosh is my boy he may not be getting a whole lot of kills while leading but his lmg is on point and will be sure to get his group in the right spots.
em4awon: Leagues deadliest rine(due to tg missing 2 games) coming off a strong performance against whyn, I think he'll continue to lead the squad in kills throughout the playoffs.
Sov: the micromanager and underlying shot caller, I think dave and crew are going to be too busy focusing sov out which is why em4 will run free.
Shasta: Step your game up stop hugging physics too many bad deaths against whyn last night. Get some rest.
manu(med): you will not see neggy in the playoff line up the law magnet that is manu is a huge upgrade and another vocal voice if needed.
CC(med): If I were dave i'd be calling lag check on CC every minute of the game, until he gets his internet situation fixed hes a liability even though hes a great med.
ER: Another great marine to add to an already strong line up. raver had some great law snipes last night.
Apollo: Apollo is a smart player who can play in any leading style I see him sticking with the main group or possibly soloing off.
Player to watch: ER, with Rejects focusing a lot on sov and em4 I see raver coming away with quite a few kills this match up.
Rejects:
Scumbag and his group of loyal followers are looking at an up hill battle. If I was dave I'd bench REAPER because the mans a huge liability when games actually matter(1-8 rip double dragons). Sol nos, bmei and leak are going to have their hands full picking up the slack and inevitably falling short.
Projected line up:
dave(med): scumbag dave but in all seriousness probably their best medic or can marine if needed
Leak: Leo the shot caller of the group he's going to have his hands full leading and picking up kills against a squad like PG.
noskeeper: or Lagkeeper as em4 has been calling him, nos is a great marine and can swing the tide of the battle usually, but will he be able to against a line up the PG presents?
Sol: Will he even show? Yeah he will which only helps nos and leo due to the fact hes their best marine .
chica(med): Fuck you jen didn't invite me to the wedding.
Bmei: brian is another good marine but sometimes hes frustrating to watch. At times he doesn't really know whether he should push or fall back or hes just playing scared.
REAPER/danny: If danny has his lag under control he should definitely be starting over y. However if y is playing as I mentioned before the man will take 2 law deaths in the same battle and creating openings for PG to roll over yall.
Cage: motu the expert at running, great aim but I don't see him commit on pushes like he should inevitably getting himself or teammates focused out.
Player to watch: Leak; because im tired of saying Sol.
Final Score: I honestly think PG is going to run away with this one it'll stay close for the first 15 but as Rejects starts to panic and commit on bad pushes to even out the score I think PG will rack up some more free kills.
63-42 PG MVP: ER
