The #1 seed not looking as strong in the recent weeks as they had been in the beginning, is it the reverse tg curse?! Glitter coming off a close win against NH looking to use that momentum in their favor heading into this playoff match up.
New Hope:
In the recent weeks these guys are the by product of inactivity, tg, ninj, treach all not showing forcing kippa to marine and dp and pistor as medics. In my opinion dp should've stayed marine and kippa stick to med. most of dp's deaths weren't his fault but I think last night he would've done more as a marine than kippa did. Kippa is a great medic but his marine is definitely rusty. Im expecting ninj and treach to definitely show for the playoffs otherwise they're gonna have to use pistor again who was a huge weak link.
Projected line up:
kippa(med): still love my Scottish warrior but stick to medding bro arguably the best med in the game stick to your strength.
dp: tophers gonna stay in the starting line up as marine this time, underrated in the position.
Champion: Im not looking for chris to have the same type of game as he did last night, seemed very uncharacteristic seeing him push right up against physics(that law at the end from mizz)
E: my boy e also had a off night I much like chris expect him to bounce back.
Brillhart: fuck you for that wall lag south you prick. But in all seriousness brill was their best marine last night and he will continue to put in work.
Ninj: As I said above I expect him to show up and dominate.
J: as long as his lag is under control(spectrum does suck) he should be able to play but if I were them id be safe and go 7s so they wont have to sub in infinite again if its 8s.
Treacherous: Zach didn't show this week if hes in the line up they have a solid 2nd med.
Player to watch: Brillhart: As I said he was the best marine last night for NH I've always enjoyed playing with brill and expect him to continue playing strong.
Glitter:
Riding our high horse into this match up after coming away with a close win against these guys in the final match of the regular season solidifying our playoff birth. Fausto led perfectly after watching the video he definitely had kippa and crew guessing where we were "theyre on weed again" when we were north having them waste explosives on weed wall. Mizz played outstanding along with vince carter. I saw R get a lot of shit in spec chat yes he had a few bad deaths but then turned it around when the game was on the line going from 2-5(I think) to 5-5 in the last few minutes. Can we ride the momentum and possibly pull off another upset?
Projected line up:
Fax(med): big daddy fax will be back in the line up but do we want him?! he might've been the cancer holding us back, kidding; fax is a phenomenal med.
vince carter(med): vc coming up big last night 7-3 as med keeping our team alive for the most part while doing it, reminded me of the TS days.
Fausto: oh captain my captain whether its sending bulge snap chats or snaps of your dogs you continue to motivate the squad with your positive attitude, good guy fausto.
G: Im bad, I played bad early against NH and couldn't finish kills that I should've. but with fausto leading I was still able to focus on getting the extra angle and focusing with jeff.
Colossal: 2-3 more like 9-3 vc coming through with them knife and pdw leeches. Jeff made a pivotal call north that kept us in the lead mid way through the match. He'll continue to be vocal and look for him to bust out more kills.
Mizzouse: Coming off a 10-2 performance getting kills when he shouldn't have like early on killing easoe after we lost the first battle. Will he be able to replicate that performance coming into this match? I don't doubt it, played with him for so many seasons like brillhart I know how he can play.
r: Nate the great coming back into the line up being another vocal for fausto to call people out and focus. If he can cutback on those bad early deaths I think he'll be solid.
Keith Stone/Doctor.Nickk: Both players are flex picks really and can plug and play whichever role we need them to. My guess is fausto will get haup in for 8s.
Player to watch: It is hard not to say mizzouse, he legit carried along with fausto's leading. look for him to try and replicate most kills but falling short to jeff.
Final Score: I see this being very similar to the match last night, especially if NH shows the same line up. I do not see kippa giving us map choice again and he will likely choose EC. if hes smart he'll play 7s as I mentioned above about J's lag as their inactivity and depth are lacking atm.
