I can be a guest speaker if need be and do random raffles and give people prizes and/or money.

another thing is improving on camera movement, sometimes you miss important points in battles. maybe try moving around more rather than just spectating a single player, that way you'll get more of the battle in the screen. tough to catch everything tho so no big deal
L
Agree with Pandy - couple times there was a turning point in a battle and you missed it (not intentionally, just accidentally) so try to roam around more rather than speccing the same 3-4 players all game.

Good job guys, enjoyed it. Pandy and Ernie have already hit on what i would of suggested.(name sizes and roaming more over a battle than following same people) Keep Up the good work. Also Sav had me cracking up.

@Pandy and Zebe - Completely agreed. This was one of about 10 issues Savage and I discussed last night.

Here's the thing. If you are unfamiliar with the game, a common complaint is, "I can't tell who is on who's team?"
That problem is made even worse if you don't have green vs. red to represent the teams visually. So I tried to pick players who would be key to combat, so whatever action I did miss would be minimized. But obviously, I'm still missing a lot.

I think what I want to try this weekend, on Sav's suggestion, is to ask the game referee to place me on the Home team as a spectator. That would allow me to move around freely, while keeping green vs. red to help new viewers. But there is a drawback - red is more difficult to see than green, and the "red team" would get less exposure.

I'd love suggestions on this. I am aware it's a problem, but I'm grasping at straws trying to figure out a way to fix it.

Do you do much editing with this already? I guess I'm wondering if it's possible to have multiple people record the match, then edit them together to achieve the best footage possible, obviously linking it up with audio after the fact. Now that I say it though, that could end up taking some time.

Suggestions aside, it's really great to see this happening and I'm going to be very satisfied with whatever you guys decide to put out. I missed the announced games. This is turning into a USL renaissance!

This is nice work Rom, you rolled with some unexpected punches smoothly and got a good voice for broadcasting. Below are some suggestions as i watch your video and I hope they are seen as constructive rather than any critical thing against the show.

I would suggest (I don't know if you already do or not) that you have fact sheets of players stats in front of you to do filler banters. It's better (and more professional) than talking about Dave's attempt at a bowel movements. Make that available to your co-host as well.

You don't have to always speak as the action can speak for themselves on the screen. Though i must say Infantry looks like shit even on 720HD settings. It looks blurry and for people who don't know the player names well enough, they probably wouldn't be able to catch up to the commentaries.

Calling the play by play, specially at the action packed scenes should be one person. The co-host can fill in when the main commentator take a breather/drink. Both people trying to commentate at the same time is just a mess of shouting. That mess can get better once the hosts got used to each other's rhythm but to start off, having an order is better.

Lastly, I think most thing in infantry is available as command lines. I think you can actually macro the spectating command so you don't have to scroll the arena list, right clicking name and spectate every time. Mizz can you verify this?

All you have to do is hover over the person you want to spectate and press your first weapon key to spectate them.

Champ its for quick team spec switching as you cant hover mouse over the other team when they are not on screen.

I like how they picked out "players to watch" for the match. If they can macro them in before match, they can jump quickly between their favored players and catch up on the movements of the 2 squads.
