Special Forces, not to anyone's surprise they are undefeated thus far in the season. It's what happens when you get some of the best players, and bring out of retirement some of the best former players. Their strengths are obviously their sheer skill. If there was a top 5 players on infantry right now, Sov and Champion would be on that list. Even their bench would be able to start on any other squad (Manu, England). Their weaknesses? It would be their ego, they're good and they know it, and they let everyone in the league know it. They also tend to break down and get at each others throats when an SB isn't going their way. I have heard first hand people push down their talk button on ventrilo to let out a big "SIGH", so everyone could hear how frustrated they were. If they start playing bad, it's going to get harder and harder for them to win the game as the clock ticks down.
Predicted lineup: Fake Khaos, Champion, Sov, Alonzo, Colossal, Devil, Kippa, em4.
Apocalypse, with a few bumps along the way.. I feel we are the only squad that can give SFo a run for it's money. I still feel like an underdog too. With Darth, Pandy and ER joining and with Shasta & Iceman leaving I feel we have gotten twice as strong. We are much more aggressive and players like Tactical, don't have to worry as much about pushing in by themselves.. because you know ER won't be backpedaling. When I was talking about top 5 players on infantry, on the flipside I would also put ER and Tactical up there too. They, like Sov and Champion have what it takes to carry games.. more often than not its one of those two getting the first kill of a battle. I think our strengths would be our leadership. I have let Darth do a lot of the leading, but really if you listen to us scrim we have literally 6 of our marines calling things out and everyone listens to each other. Weaknesses? Our bench isn't as deep as SFo's, I feel like if we don't have our starting 8 online we will stand less of a chance.
Overall, it will be a close match. Since I am biased I think we're going to take it with a majority of them saying "See you in playoffs".
It'll be a hard one since SFo gets collective against every top squad in the league, so I haven't seen them prove themselves on titan. And Darth has been taking down the top squads since before anyone on SFO has been playing. NB, SFI, etc.
