Hello All,

First and foremost- We appreciate the patience with this off-season as well as your continued activity on the forums. Both DP and I have been extremely busy, professionally, and I was without a personal laptop for the majority of August. I hope the time off has grown your curiosity to come back with a vengeance and the activity to perform. This post will be a familiar one to those of you that have played for seasons on end. In this post, I will go over Start date, format, ideas and past issues. Please feel free to chime in and offer suggestions and/or thoughts.

Last Season:
While last season started and ended in dramatic fashion; I have a positive outlook on the upcoming season. I do not foresee any speed bumps a long the way- and if there are some, we will deal with it accordingly. Please understand that your actions- as a player in our community - whether powered or not powered, causes a domino effect to the rest of the player base.

Due to this: The only players currently powered are the game developers and Administrators. We will be providing powers as we deem necessary to help streamline matches - day to day operations. Individuals with powers - will be staff members (i.e. head staff, referees and game developers).

Season Start Date:
Based off the Polls- the majority picked the latter of the date(s) available, with that in mind and due to our lack of time between now and 9/10/2017 - the Start date will be pushed back a bit, to ensure we have full squads - capable of competing. The Current start date is set for: 9/24/2017. This will give players, captains, staff members close to 3 weeks to formulate your foundation for this upcoming season.

Duration of season:
We will be doing a standard 6 week season - with a 1 week post season for a total of 7 weeks. This will have us finishing before the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Format of season:
This season's format will flow from the previous season, which will have us playing in a free for all style season. As the population has gone down a little- the size of rosters and numbers of players required to play in a match will be as follows:

Max Roster limit - 11 Players
Minimum number of players - 8 squad members
In-Game Format - The standard will be 6v6. However, if both captains agree, it can go upwards (i.e. 7v7, 8v8 or downward to 5v5)

*Please note - items may change between now and the start of the season - only if it is justifiable to do so (such as decreasing and/or increasing roster sizes)

Head Staff:
As mentioned in my previous post, DP and I are looking for individuals to help facilitate and streamline the duties that head staff entails. There will be revisions made with our current core - to ensure we have individuals in leadership roles that showcase the care and compassion needed to run this league. Please feel free to message DP or Myself for your chance to join. We will be looking for qualified people to fulfill the advisory role; as well as an active person or person(s) to be an in-game presence in the moderation department.

Referee(s):
We are looking for individuals to help step up in a leadership role on Sundays. The Referee's role will be to help facilitate matches and captains through out the 30 minute scrimmage. Last season, both Big Bird and Hiro, stepped up- which allowed the players that consistently ref- the opportunity to watch the games. This league is composed of people like myself, that play this game to have fun - on their spare time. 30 minutes is all we ask from you, to help ensure our league continues to flourish and grow.
