Alright so this'll be my first attempt at a write up or prediction about the fantasy league and this is all based on opinion of course so feel free to disagree or chime in. But i'll be briefly talking about the top 10 picks from last week and then go into more detail about who I believe will be the top 10 this coming week and why.
Last weeks top 10:
1. Sov - [120] -6-0 medic 3732 healing
2. Iron - [115]- 6-5 medic 3403 healing
3. Kevin - [91]- 23-1 Marine
4. Champion - [91] 23-1 Marine
5. Easoe - [63] 16-1 LMG
6. Zack - [59]- 1-5 Medic 5046 healing
7. Shasta - [55] 14-1 Marine
8. Hero - [54]- 2-1 Medic 3365 Healing
9. Riley - [51] 19-4 Marine
10. Sol - [51] 19-4 Marine
Now based off of these numbers it would seem that medics have quite the advantage in points. You have Sov going 6-0 with 3.7k healing at 120 and Iron whom went 6-5 3.4k healing and 115 only trailing by 5 points. If I was looking for a push in the fantasy standing I would think about adding a few more medics. Followed by them you have Champion and Kevin both coming in at 91 points both of which went 23-1. Now to me I feel like that would give more points then Sov and Iron but the I guess the assist points really factor in heavily( which I cant view).
My top 10 picks for Week 2:
Manifest Destiny: Much like Champion and Kevin did against Backs' squad, I see yosh doing the same, so long as he doesnt tilt and just plays marine off the bat.
Jane: This is my underrated pick right here. Jane's group got decimated by infamous last week but now face a squad they should beat in BFB. Top that off with how the medic points seem to be calculated and I think she could rack them fantasy points and boost your team.
Zack: Just like jane however he was also in the top 10 last week, Zack based off the squad he is playing against should be able to put up good numbers for your fantasy team.
Kaga: Kaga went 16-4 against BFB as marine and will most likely put up roughly the same statistical numbers with fewer deaths earning him more points as the marines seem to be impacted heavily by ratio.
Universal 2k Soldier: It looked like he was going to rack up the points last week but even after i told captains to make sure their players were squadjoined in game 6x he failed to do so and thus his stats weren't recorded. But Uni had a solid game against BFB and will likely do the same vs MS.
Brillhart: Brill led his team in kills even in the lopsided match against Infamous. This week he has it much easier against BFB and as long as he stops playing like mecca and hiding saving his law until everyones dead, then he should put up some good points.
gary: Gary is another player from TL that I would pick up. I hope you're seeing the pattern here.. gary is a solid player and when matched up against any of BFB minus maybe Havok, he wins. He will likely be pushing brill for rank 1.
Dick: Yes this scumbag will pop into the top 10 whether hes medic or marine he will either get a lot of assist points and healing done as the 2nd med or he might be leading and go marine and rank in the top 3 in kills during his match.
Sov: Now seeing as he pulled in 120 pts last week I dont necessarily think he'll put up the same numbers but again with how medics seem to rake in points he remains in the top 10.
Iron: May not be the better brother based on points from last week but he is the better brother in our hearts and not a dark lord like his nerdy brother. He will likely put up similar numbers again in fantasy as Sov.
*sleeper pick* killer: he played like trash against Infamous but when killer plays in statpads he really racks up the kills and seeing as he only showed on sunday and still played for his squad I see it happening again.
Alright now you might be wondering why not players like Riley, Kevin, champ, easoe, noskeeper, Sol.. players(minus nos who didnt play) arent in the top 10. Well first lets start with riley...
Much like riley is inconsistent in which class he feels like playing, he is also not a consistent marine and I do not see him going 19-4 again.
As for the rest all those marines are on either Infamous or Sonichu and as you've seen based on the point formula ratio does impact the points heavily. And I see a lot of dumb deaths on both sides in this match up.
