KobraRaider's pick for Match of the Week.

Breakdown

As the snippet says, this is my pick for the Match of the Week. That being week 3 of season 13. There has been a lot of drama involving Black Spades lately, I expect they're handling it better than most would think. I don't see them letting the drama impact their play come match day. That said, It looks to be an uphill climb for them against The Leftovers.
The Leftovers:
I approve of the name change, just sayin'. This squad is looking very good right now. If they work on a few things before the match and stay focused during the match, I don't see them changing up the formula too much. No sense in fixing something that isn't broken. And for the most part, things are looking in good shape for this squad.
That said, there are three things I can think of that might cost them this match if they aren't careful. First, Positioning. I know solo flanks are awesome, and a heck of a lot of fun. But if they get caught out of position when the battle starts it can end poorly.
Second, Meds. They will need to keep their meds alive this match. With several BS players known to be law threats, and a couple of them known to focus good streams on meds, TL will need to keep their meds protected. ie not running around in circles in the open trying to heal everyone.
Third, Patience. If TL loses a battle or two, it won't be the end of the world. If they just remain patient and work what they have, it should be a win for them.
Projected lineup for TL:
Jane (Med)
Quantum Quack (Med)
Fausto
Cybeast
Brillhart
Killer
gary/DiCK
danny/Cesar
Player to watch for TL: Killer, if he plays. It'd be entertaining. But if Killer doesn't play, I'd recommend turning your eyes to Fausto for some solid play and good kills.
Black Spades:
As I said, there has been a lot of drama with this squad lately. But I don't expect it to impact their play on match day. These guys have been around the block enough to be able to take it in stride. They have recently added SE (DarthSexiecute [DarthExecute]) to their roster. And while he is a great rine and very vocal, able to assist with leading, it's a tossup as to how active he will be able to be this season.
Now for the hurdles, I know I said "uphill climb", there are hurdles on the climb. First, Positioning. I expect TL will come on strong from the start, so positioning will be crucial for BS. If they are to win, they will need to get to the choice real estate first, and make something happen quickly. If they move too slow, it'll cost 'em battles against TL.
Second, Deaths. BS will need to work hard to conserve deaths in this match if they want the win. They can't let themselves get into a rut and "feed the meat-grinder" by engaging piecemeal. They'll need to fall back when they're outnumbered or out-positioned, and conserve those deaths.
Third, Kills. Mainly crunch kills and kills to break battles open. Every marine on BS will need to step up and work on getting those early kills for the advantage, without overextending themselves.
Fourth, Tools. If every one is vocal and working together, and the match leader uses his "tools" well, I'd expect to see some very strong battles from these guys.
Fifth, Classes. If certain ppl, won't say any names, switch to off classes during this match (ie ripper, nader, sniper, sapper) then expect to see TL picking them off quickly each battle.
Projected lineup for BS:
Metal (Med)
negativezero (Med)
BB
Riley
Hiro
Universal Soldier 2k
Bowen/Astro
Assassin/SE
Player to watch for BS: Universal Soldier 2k. If he watches his positioning and doesn't get too aggressive with this match, he can work some miracle flanks and angles.
Final Score: 71-50 The Leftovers
MVP: Jane
