Everyone is waiting for this map to go up for the USL season... when will it be?

Incoming league completely inactive by week 3

It did get boring by the last 3-4 weeks, but honestly it was 100x more balanced than KR.
Mid season map rotation, or playoff map rotation would help. Would anyone be for that idea? If we end up doing a bye week before playoffs, we could rotate the maps during that week.

Map rotation would be cool, wouldn't mind that.

I don't think you rotate maps in between regular season & playoffs... but if we run EC and the games are low-scoring camp fests, I don't think anyone would be opposed to switching to Bomb's map (the #2 choice in captain's forum).

If you do a map change then everyone should play eberyone twice. Once on ec and once on bombs. if there's 6 squads it would be 10 games of regular season matches where everyone played everyone on both maps making it fair. You could even do something like home team picks map and away pics sides for the play offs.

That depends completely on what Mizzouse is able to do - he said he can't smash all of the maps together to make one mega map because it's impossible or <some bad event> would happen.

You can defiantly add one bombs map to ec. The only thing that gets screwed up are spawn points and uniforms ( because you only have so many in one map) with that being said all you would have to do is delete one of the mini games ( preferably apollos because it sucks dick and everyone hates it) and then put about 10 hours worth of time into it and you'll have both. You won't be able to get squad uniforms on both maps because there's a cap but who cares about having uniforms on both maps. The main concern would be having both maps on the one file.


I alrwsdy told Palm, but I'm willing to help create the map with them. We can do so many hrs, save, send to another person to do so many hours, save, send to anther person etc. Could have it done in a day.

Since no one plays pub just default Titan/collie to green/yellow.

Then you can have uniforms on ec and bombs.

I'm down for a mid season switch: if not that then at least some modifications to ec to discourage camping south rocks every play.

We should maybe start thinking about building a new map for future seasons to come? I can't see USL staying at its full capacity if we just rotate between 2 maps. Ideally we could have a contest to build a new map, community votes on the best one and the winner is awarded money or something worthwhile. Just a thought.

Leak that is a very good suggestion in my opinion. I actually brought it up in the captains chat more than a week ago that we should make a public post allowing people to create and post their very own usl maps for future seasons. It doesn't hurt to have 50 maps even if 47 of them look like Z put them together while he was having a downsyndrome episode. We could have three new solid maps to play on for the next couple seasons.

I feel like we need the community to get more involved in the game anyways. Not just playing but actually in the development of the game and maps. It would actually take a huge strain off of the people who currently do it all now ( mizz/palm/champ/armor )


I like the contest idea, it'll get more people involved. Here I'll start it out. I'll host a $50CND prize to the contest. BUT not all $50 goes to the winner. I'll send half to the winner and half gets donated to the server.

Someone make a link to the map editor. We can always test maps too during the weeks and offseason

Exactly albert, and worst case scenario we can turn some of those maps into pub maps if they're not good enough for the league. I'm sure most of us are sick of green/yellow and would be willing to try something new as far as pub is concerned

There's like 8 zones, and I'm pretty sure nobody plays any of them aside from the occasional ctfpl, or zombie zone. Wouldn't it make sense to perhaps take down a few zones that never get played and put up multiple maps (In different zones). That would be pretty cool if all 3 maps were left up at once, and when squads sb'd during the week they could pick which map they want to scrim on.
Then like mentioned above have both squads play each other twice on the different zones, with all the maps left up there would be ample time to practice and get ready for the rotation.
