OP
Here is the message exchange that happened via website mail, his play did not improve, and his leading was horrible, had to make a move.

Hey, I just wanted to reach out to you and apologize as I believe that I have offended you from the sb's last night. Looking back I picked out two situations that I feel have caused this offense and I hope that you can accept the apology and we can work through these miscommunications that lead to the offenses. I also would like to open any communication that you may have against me so that we can work together better. I in no way meant to attack you personally and really enjoy playing with you in the squad and look forward to hopefully working through this bump in the road.

First of all, I appreciate that you took the time to send this message. I didn't think that I would be able to communicate with you very well without you getting angry and just holding a grudge, and I don't want longterm beef with anyone in this league, I don't have any problems right now and it's nice. I am going to preface this mail by letting you know that I also got frustrated at Riley the other day, and that two of my family members died this weekend, and I am probably not relating to people as well as I should.
The first of the main two things that have frustrated me is when you get upset after a lost battle against the Sonichu idiots and point fingers, as you have guessed. I know you are trying to get better at leading, and in order to do that, you need us to listen and execute without questioning. I am good with that. But you gotta realize that sometimes they just get stuff done sometimes, maybe they law one of my marines from afar and I have to use heals just before we're actually engaged, maybe our guys aren't being aware of heal range, or hey maybe I choked. But whatever the case, it's already demoralizing getting stomped by Sonichu. Our scores are improving, and I assure you that every death I play, I am striving to get better.
My second issue is one that Yosh has already raised with you. I understand that it's difficult to focus on gameplay at the same time as talking. I tried leading the other week as a medic and it was tough. But we gotta figure out something here, because you take a disproportionate amount of damage compared to all of our other marines. Probably because you're looking on the minimap and calling out plays, or maybe you're just getting too excited trying to finish kills, but you take a heck of a lot more damage than anyone else. It's very noticeable, if I'm low on the heal charts I'll just follow you around for a little bit and be back up in no time. I was worried about offending you by bringing this up, and you already didn't have a great reaction when yosh pointed it out, so you can see why maybe I'd just want to move on rather than piss you off and make an enemy. I would be more than happy to spend some good time dueling with you to improve some of your dodging mechanics. I am one of the best duelists in this league, and there is no marine in this league that clearly destroys me. Probably a little-known fact, but I am always willing to back it up with duels, and have against some of the best in the league. Or if we could set up some 3v3's with only assault rifle and healing allowed, I think that sort of thing would be really beneficial to our fire-teams, both for dodging and for focus fire.
A lot of it probably comes down to the fact that I have literally never played with anyone on this squad before besides yosh. So, I am used to being trusted to perform my job at a high level, bveut it's unreasonable to expect that from a successful bunch of players that don't know me. It's still been nagging at me to hear things like "you're doing okay but stay behind your medics and heal more", that sort of very baby-basic advice that's a given, when I am consistently first or second in healing against the best medics in the game, and I check squad deaths after the game, I am also one of the least to die, every sb, every match.
I still have a lot of work to do on my own gameplay. I know I can learn from you and the other guys that have so many more seasons under their belt than I. Your knowledge about USL is far superior to mine. I have a lot of raw talent left over from being a top5 infantry in CTFPL for so long. And I need to stay humble and not let my past successes frustrate my current reality. I will rejoin the squad if you have read all this and don't hate me.

TLDR;; BigBird doesn't strafe, I called him out on it, he still wouldn't strafe, JJ is also bad, I left.
