I don't blame Boogie.

No one was giving him good money due to his injury. So he's planning on rehabbing and trying to get a ring at the same time and hopefully bounce back the following year with a big money contract.

Also... he is injured. His defense leaves a lot to be desired. He isn't the most mobile big even when healthy. He doesn't necessarily fit Golden State that well. So I'm not sure why everyone thinks this is a done deal of a season.

Don't get me wrong, Golden State should be favored. But shit happens. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out atm.

How does he not fit golden state? He can shoot 3s and pass as a big

- Coming off a really bad injury

- Ball tends to stop and stay in his hands

- He'll be taking shots away from the other guys, and if you're another team, you definitely want him shooting 3s over Steph, Klay, and KD

- He isn't a good switch defender before the injury, he'll probably be worst now

He's a terrific player obviously. I would love to have him. But the season isn't a done deal. Shit happens. Boogie will most likely be joining the team in January. Let's see how he meshes.

Sometimes players are just great individual players who don't necessarily help their teams.

I mean he averaged 5apg last year as a 5? And his defense improved... and teams will want to double him, and if they double him they can't double anyone else. If they do he can kick it to 3 of the best shooters to ever play. I'm not sure what the fit issue would be? The only thing GSW possibly needed was a reliable post presence who could spot up when needed, and that's exactly what boogie is.

I think you need two people to reliably guard Cousins from scoring 30ppg on the inside (assuming he's still close to injury). Good luck double covering him when you have to cover the other 4 GS players. It's the biggest pick your poison scenario I've ever seen in basketball being there's so many poisons to pick from.

He's easily a Top20 players if not borderline Top10 when healthy.

But it's not always a guarantee players work well together. Kevin Love kind of worked with LeBron and he kind of didn't. On paper he should have been a dream fit with LeBron being a great passing stretch 4. But it felt like they never quite clicked.

So ya. All I'm saying is let's see how Cousins meshes before everyone says the season is over before it starts.

I have question marks next time his health and chemistry atm.

Don't forget Boogie has an attitude problem a lot of times. That might be a disruption in the locker room and what not.

Also K-Love had really good stats on a really bad team, he was never going to become a d-wade esque robin type character to Lebron. Love had a lot of nice post moves in Minnesota which are irrelevant when you play with lebron who's constantly driving, also they had tristan thompson clogging up the lane doing nothing. Was never a good fit. With GSW+Boogie none of the other 4 especially like driving or clogging the lane so it shoudl be a good fit. His personality sucks but AD didn't mind playing with him and most team USA guys say he's great, most likely has to do with shit coaching/shit players. I doubt he's gonna be a pain in the ass when playing with 4 all stars.

Boogie is a great player no offense but when I saw him playing on pelicans, God he was cancer. Maybe it's just 1 game or a few. He would take stupid fouls and I was like why? Lol. Well he is known for for dirty plays so that's boogie.

Like I said, he’s a great player. If he was playing all 82 games, this team could potentially go for 74+ wins if they wanted. If they click offensively it’ll be impossible to stop them.

But I have my doubts. Not going to say it’s a done deal. I just don’t agree with the people being serious about the season being over.
