I don't know about y'all but that was fun as fck last night. It was a breathe of fresh air... We had a lot of people in the arena as well, as much as USL matches.

It was just all around more fun,more strategic. Maybe it was because the draft made teams that are all pretty even, maybe thats why it was more fun... But regardless I think SL last night was a great success. 4 good competitive matches were played.

What do y'all think? Can SL happen on a larger scale after this mini season is over? Can we get 6-8 active squads for an SL season?... WIll it be as competitive as last night? probably not, but it will definitely be as fun.

As someone who reffed every match and played in 2 matches equating to 4 rounds last night I have mixed feelings. yes it was a breath of fresh air in terms of leading, but actually playing it got dull after the first 5minutes of the match. I lost interest fairly quickly my only fun moment was sniping leak out when he got subbed back in.


Changes can be made to make it possibly flourish as champ suggested in the other thread.

i think one of the reasons why it felt so burdensome was because we had to play 2 matches, coupled with the fact that maybe ur playing with a draft team. I'm all in for doing a full SL season with actual squads, but its gonna come down to what the rest of the community wants (please choose SL).

True even though my squad was chill and everyone got along, even though half of them probably hate me, we still respected each other. I actually think playing with squads you create will make the league more fun for certain people. I personally don't care but for the try hards, you know they want to stack squads. And thats fine... Itll make it fun for me trying to beat them.

Agreed. I felt bored and truthfully nobody really tried on our team. We just kinda ran off did whatever we want, like an organized mix. If it was an actual squad where we were organized playing against another organized squad it would have been a lot more fun. And people may have actually shown up so we didn't have to use an nt.

Personally I don't dislike anyone on my team and were also chill on disc, definitely having to play 2 matches last night could definitely skew my opinion as it being a burden truthfully.

I agree playing with squads you make would definitely be more appealing but in the same breath it still to me needs more tweaks and adjustments to make it more appealing to the rest of the community. And this is precisely why we're doing the draft league to begin with.

See what issues / or complaints arise and take suggestions on how to increase the popularity of the league.

Yeah exactly. Even though some ppl didnt have as much fun last night, it was productive in that we're figuring out what doesn't work and what does. hopefully we can implement a few tweaks and get SL up and running
