I would have written this match off had it not been for Ninj and kippa showing up out of the blue this past Sunday. Could they be what it takes to make this MOTW or even MOTS? While it won't particularly affect the standings, it should be a fun match to watch.
At the start of last week's match TCT seemed a little lost. They kept trading kills with Mean Girls for the first few battles and stayed within 1 battle for just under the first half of the game. They eventually picked things up and the result was a 93-29 victory over Mean Girls. If they want to keep up with idc, they will need to have a much better start than that and be able to execute the finish they did against Mean Girls. With this week's matches being played on EC, I could see kippa taking a little bit of control to try and dictate the match and slow things down in TCT's favor. Expect some wild plays and ambushes as long as Mecca doesn't do Mecca flanks that get his team killed. My projected lineup would be based on how I would set it in an 8v8 situation. I would include tg but he's MIA.
Optimal Lineup:
Black (Mar)
Mizzouse (Mar)
Ninj (Mar)
Sabotage (Mar)
Torch (Mar)
Beso/typhoon (Mar)
kippa (Med)
Mercy (Med)

Last week idc had a pretty decisive victory over USL Hotline going 172-16. This week they won't be as spoiled if TCT can pull it together. idc has been pretty consistent this season with 3 out of their 4 victories being decided by a large margin. While that looks good on the stat sheet there are some underlying issues with idc that I could see hurting them in this match.
Their biggest issue seems to be leadership. Granted, I am not on their discord/mumble to hear all the calls but when you're watching people play it's pretty easy to notice when they are unsure or confused on what to do next. There doesn't seem to be enough communication when it comes to things like calling a pinch or focus at the right time. A lot of battles could be won much easier and with less casualties had things like that been executed. Another issue seems to be players over-extending and being aggressive at the wrong times. idc can surely be a wrecking ball when they are all on the same page but it's not very often that they are.
Optimal Lineup:
Brillhart (Mar)
CC (Mar)
Fausto (Mar)
God (LMG/Mar)
Leak (Mar)
Trisance (Mar)
Fairfax (Med)
manu (Med)

I believe that this will be a competitive match as long as TCT shows their optimal lineup and doesn't play themselves into a corner every battle. EC is a great opportunity to do some unorthodox plays and ambushes that idc may not be ready for. We'll see how it all plays out.
Final Score: 43-36 idc
