The attitude will be changed. There will be mentorship, guidance, and a clear understanding of the zone. The curve is not a natural one, and even an IRL friend who started playing this past week said that starting in USL is still extremely difficult, he couldn't imagine starting CTF against all veterans and enjoying it without understanding and being mentored.
