My last thoughts on the whole appeal

According to how the rules are written, Emp should have notified FD’s cap they were in violation of camping as well. They should have had a player specced shortly after Uzo. Worth noting also according to the rules No Stones should have likely also had another player specced and lost 2 players because I don’t believe they moved 2 coords within 1 minute after Uzo was specced.

Camp rules are shit and I completely don’t hold Emp accountable for not enforcing crap rule exactly to the letter of the word as it’s very vargue. However, there is definitely a valid arguement that enforcing the rule closer to exactly how’s it written could have changed the outcome.

My advice is allowing an appeal and a rematch as long as it’s played by end of the day this Sunday. I think it benefits both sides, No Stones get to play their starters without NTs and with their captain and FD gets to stat pad them instead of the low scoring game this Wednesday.

I definitely don’t think the season should be delayed for this appeal.

NS was indeed close to losing a 2nd player (Uni was highlighted and about to be specced), but then the fighting ensued. I started the following 1 minute timer after speccing Uzo and giving another warning to NS.

The rules don't mention "fighting" because as other players have already said, why would you spec teams mid battle? That makes no sense.

The whole point of the anti camping rules are to encourage fighting. While at the same time not forcing a team to have to charge into a turtle/camp.

The rules have never been perfect nor will they ever be. There may be missing or assumed information, and players will always find a loophole to exploit. Specifically referring to the camping rule -- why is there a camping rule in the first place? To encourage engagement. If you read rule 7.7, one of the consequences of camping is the camping team's location being broadcasted to the opposing team. This would only be included if it was the intention of the camping rule to encourage engagement. You're right that there is no literal rule that says engagement resets the camp timer, but it's been understood by every single player/referee/captain that that is the case for a long time now. Seems like you're nitpicking just to stir the pot.

I kind of got this impression Wednesday night when and he and Hellspawn started this after I specced Uzo.

I honestly got the impression that they were butthurt that Cazzo died after everyone came to USL. And this was there way of causing drama.

You could be engaged in a fight in the same coords for more than 3 minutes it isn't camping. The moment both sides fight thats no longer camping. Now I didn't see the match if they were fighting say 1 FD player and the rest were hiding then yeah I wouldn't call that an engagement if majority are indeed camping. At this point maybe we should have a rule that says when you have 0 hp you are dead just to clarify what a death is.
