It's really not that hard to see it from someone elses standpoint especially when you've been in the situation that squads like mean girls/ send noobs has. But like I said their whole take on "camping" would likely contradict the more popular demand to widdle it down.

So for the most part I don't see them voicing against it, which is odd. But meh.

Mean girls was actually almost a play off squad given the right circumstances they could've edged snakes out for the 4th seed but instead of camping like week 1 they thought it best to try and fight out with the rest of the "playoff contenders"

So in reality the main issue is people don't know how to lead their squads to cater their own strengths save for few individuals.

The definition of a fair map is subjective. If you're asking me as a member of Send Noobs then I would respond as followed:

Don't change anything, give me more time to improve. Not once did anyone on SN complain about map configuration or the rotation.

When were had our match with FD and we were running around like roaches, not once did we say, "ya know what would make this match more even? Flags."

Unfortunately MG kind of had issues after our bye week. We didn't SB at all pretty much.

Would've been interesting had we stayed as active as we were the first 3-4 weeks.

But that's starting to get off the topic unfortunately.

Milking the flag would essentially be what we have now..

and I personally would rather end a game sooner than watch 30 minutes of pure rape. How many times this season did we see a match pretty much over within the first 5 minutes. I don't find it fun to play or watch, I could be alone in that though. Could have a point bonus for ending games quicker, IDK - just spitballing ideas.

The problem with looking at the lower end and why most competitive games balance towards high elo/competitive stand point is that if something is consider broken for lower tier players, it will be abused by the higher end squads. Add components in the game that allow lower tier squads to camp successfully? Higher tier squads will not lose a single battle holding that exact spot.

There does seem to be too many obstacles with flags like champ mentioned. If we use a rotational system for objective based games, lets say FD get the quick 5-0 victory with flags against Stiletto Nails. At the end of the season Stiletto Nails/No Stones/Snakes are tied in the reg season. Well one squad got raped 0-5 and the other two had to play the top squad in a tdm 50-10, so tie breaker wise they lucked out.

I think changing the objective is the extreme solution. If you want to fix camping, you need to revise the maps that provides multiple ways for proactive squads to punish camps. Hellspawn mentioned he can add a component to the game where if you hold certain areas for a long time, your hp will keep reducing, so I think there a lot more methods that should be looked at than revamping the system we have in place currently.

This is similar to manu wanting a mercy rule and every lower tier squad saying "what I don't want to log on just to play 10mins". If there are people who are not interested in a squad getting raped, don't watch it. I personally don't like to watch two squads avoid fighting throughout the game but it's not like I'm acting it's hurting my eyes to watch that stuff.

I don't know why this is all about camping to be honest. I think people are just bored of the current state of the game.

you can only revise the maps so much, at the end of the day you cannot force a squad to fight you unless there is a clear objective and motivation to do so.

Those of you who are strongly in favor of adding flags or whatever. You should discuss amongst yourselves exactly what you want

To be more exact, you should come to a consensus on some of this information:

How many flags?
What rewards do the flags provide? i.e. kills or victory?
etc.

Once you come to a consensus on all of that stuff, I think it'll simplify a potential poll a lot. Ideally it'll be clear cut what the two options are so people can easily vote.

Just my 2 cents anyways.

@Ice If you're bored with the current state of the game, why did you vote no for any new class changes or new maps to be implemented? Not sure if serious or just trolling tbh.

@Apollo Like emperor said, there doesn't seem to be a huge problem with camping besides one squad getting camped. If you want to increase the pace of the game, you will have to increase the amount of openings in the map that can punish camps. An objective didn't really help with SL at all even with 3 deaths, since everyone camped. Like I stated before, changing maps/adding+revising classes/adding components that HS can do are all better options to increase pace of game than changing USL completely.

Personally for me flags would be about rejuvenating game play. Activity dies down every season because it's the same shit game we've been playing for 20 years.

Literally why I stopped playing tbh. It’s just the same thing every night. Cazzo was fun at first because it was something different, you had the AI and the ability to upgrade weps and it was refreshing. If other zones were actually played (CA, Frontlines, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FAYDON LAKE which caters to literally every style of players interests) or The Arena, I would probably be active again.

Edit: Adding the version of EOL which was populating this game before USL came to FI because that zone was fun too.
