Nah just makes no sense when there is no value to a said player. They can join and leave any squad they want to up until the roster lock anyways. Trades would have to have a deadline as well which would probably be the same time as the roster lock. No one is for trading players in the playoffs cause that's just ludicrous. Show me a sport where you can trade a player in the playoffs.

Trades would only make sense if squads were drafted imo. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of joining squads of your own choosing. If the players are agreeing to the trades in your scenario, then it really just sounds like you don't want a roster lock.
