<b>Season 3 Breakdowns (with a help me remember people mini-game)</b>

First off, huge thanks to everyone that stepped up to lead or recruit for squads. I love the fact that we've managed to grow the league and there's still a lot of potential with CTFPL players coming back and additional players waiting on the free agents list. I hope you guys find a way to incorporate some of the newer players into your in-game chats to get them some play time throughout the season as we'll see with some of our newer squads that there are some players that are really going to shine unexpectedly and more of those may be waiting to join up with a squad!
With that being said, I wanted to give a quick run-down of how I see squads and we'll in corporate a help-armor-remember-who-these-players-are mini-game on some of these squads. In no particular order... I'll start with worms!

While I see this squad a little below the level of CK, IV, and WH... I also see the potential for them to step up and beat any of those squads. I've seen some strong performances from them in scrims. I've also managed to NT for them once or twice which, for me, is a pretty good indicator of the leadership of a squad. I was completely comfortable listening to the direction and pushing with the team when playing and they've got a pretty strong starting lineup to give them the ability to compete with anyone. I'm hoping this squad is an integral part of the parity of the league. Right now, I think they're firmly positioned in the middle of the pack as a standard... with the ability to flex up & down from week to week as they step up to contend with top squads, or lower squads step up to challenge them.
SM: 89
Great marine - I think he does very well in one-on-one situations which typically transitions to a great group/focus fire pusher as well. Definitely one of the top guys in this roster.
Splittah: 88
I've always been a huge Splittah fan and have had the opportunity of playing with him on several squads in the past. Always a super laid-back guy, and very dangerous as a marine.
Jekyll: 88
I really hope Jekyll is active for this squad. His presence could be one of the major things that turns them from an underdog to a competitor.
koh: 86
I honestly don't remember kohkomo being super good from SOE days, but I've seen him play since and he's definitely strong. Great piece for this squad.
slob: 85
Has always been a very solid medic and is strong enough in that role to be a key starter in almost any squad.
mc: 82
I think guys like haup are essential for every squad. He's been very consistent for squads in the past. Maybe he's not going to step up and go crazy for a win, but he'll always keep you in a match and give the other killers (SM, Splittah, Jekyll, etc.) an opportunity to win any game.
Mizzouse: 78
#1 Game Dev. Seems a lot better now than I remember from SOE. More of a compliment, I swear!

While SE/AF/Lifers/etc. are a staple in USL, I actually thought they were going to be struggling somewhat in the middle of the pack this season. I've watched a few games since then and that's definitely not the case. This crew has a lot of chemistry and I've seen them absolutely murder squads recently that I thought would give them a hard time. Looking forward to seeing how Darth and his team step up to compete this season!
ER: 90
I know I've heard a lot of comments about raver's inactivity or lack of attention towards Infantry vs. other games as a reason for rating him lower... for me, it's impossible to drop him down. When you now how to play well, you don't really forget it. His instincts and fundamentals are still super sharp and he knows how to win. He could be a starting marine on any lineup in my eyes.
Pandy: 86
Strong marine in some games, holds the line in others. I think there are flashes of brilliance for sure, but maybe some issue with consistency (that's a lot like me!)?
Win: 85
Leads, kills, consistent... maybe some anger issues?
Chaos Blade: 85
Steady guy that knows how to finish kills.
Deviak: 84
I've heard "poor man's Killer". Not sure if that's fair to either of them, really. Killer does a lot of things well even when he's wildly aggressive. Deviak seems like he fits in pretty well as a strong pusher (with backup) and can finish kills well to jump up high on the leaderboard (watch his fantasy scores!).
Romulocks: 80
Steady medic that knows how to hang in fights and get you heals when you need it.
victim: 80
Love seeing this alias back in the game. Victim was always one of my favorite medics back in the day and he can be a strong player on this squad if he feels comfortable with everything again!
zebe: 80
I haven't seen him play much, but I did get to watch him some on Tank. Seems to push at the right times and knows how to pick up kills. This late addition to AF is going to pay off in the long run.
Some trouble remembering/placing:
1. Brillhart (always seemed to be good, but I would have instinctively rated him around 75 which may not be fair)
2. Nowitzki (it's been a long time since I've really watched Templar play - used to be a low 80s guy, not sure where now)
3. OlaCola (can't remember much, but I hear great things)
4. Pliskin (not enough to go on, but I remember this one!)

This will be a much briefer review than the others. What I'll say about Cobra Kai is that the team does have a good combination of activity, skill, and leadership. There are several premier USL players on the squad and a lot of them are marines that are definitely challenging for me to play against in pub, etc. What I love about this squad is the inclusion of a couple of really promising CTFPL players: BFN and Dinobot. BFN is one of my UFL fantasy "sleepers" this season and I'm hoping he gets a lot of play time because he's a beast in scrims. This should be one of the top 1-3 squads this season, but there are certainly weaknesses (e.g. Cael <3).
Champion: 94
As the reigning Infantry Star Medal winner, I'll give him the extra point on this group. Consistently plays well, you can never count him out of a battle, and he shares a particular talent with easoe that I'll explain later...
Prime: 93
I used to know a guy that lead as a medic and played at a pretty fair level. This one leads as a medic... and still plays at a very -high- level. Definitely a unique skill and he's a beast to face 1v1 as any class... streams PDW very well.
The Great Khali: 93
I'm at a disadvantage when it comes to rating Sov. He's a great leader, but I haven't had much opportunity to watch him play what seems to be his best role - Medic. As a marine, I think he's near the top of the field. He's a really smart marine that rarely puts himself in a tough situation.

This guy will wipe up an entire battle by himself if you let him. He loves to leech kills (UFL players, take note!), and will block your AR to make sure he gets them.
Colossal: 90
I haven't had much opportunity to play with Jeff, but in-game, he's a vocal player that knows how to position well in battles. Great asset to a team from both a co-leadership perspective and a steady presence.
England: 89
A little bit of healthy lag, always seems like a good guy. Never sure what his alias is going to be from week to week!!!!!! (come on, Leon!)
Sol: 89
I didn't know a lot about Sol, but I've heard a lot of really good things. When that happens, I pay a little bit more attention to guys while I'm playing against them in pub/scrims. What I noticed about Sol is he has -really- strong aim from mid-range and he can very easily connect 4-5 straight AR shots on you to completely turn a 1v1 around. I'd say he reminds me a little of facing Trisance...?
Q: 88
I'm a big fan of a lot of guys for different reasons. I love the fact that Below can play at a high-level as both medic and marine. I would put him in the same category as a guy like Havok, but with a little bit higher rating for more consistency.
Mecca: 88

Big Fat Noob: 87
I feel like I'm rating him a little high compared to others, but this guy is SOLID. He is a great finisher, especially in close quarters. I feel like he's still working on positioning a little bit, but movement around the EC map seems to be really natural for him. Leadership may play into positioning him for greatness, but this guy is a great addition to any squad.
Armor: 80
I'm terrible guys. Really. Also, a PSA for anyone that's picking me in UFL (there's 4 of you!): I'm not playing this weekend. Or next weekend... or probably any weekend. Steer clear!
Rob Zomby: 80
Fun guy to have on your squad - always super positive. He can play grenadier well and can also med, it seems... great guy to have around.
c: 41
This guy misses so many heals on me in scrims. I'm sure there's a reason his medkit locks up 15 times every scrim, but I'm not sure that happens to anyone else. It's a special talent for sure, but one that warrants a special rating.
Honestly, haven't seen enough to rate these guys! (sorry team!):

If they can show a full lineup of their top players, they can definitely contend with other squads. Legends have some experienced USL players that can lead them through matches and they have players that are capable of flashes of brilliance. Looking forward to seeing how they do, especially in critical matches. I would give them a solid shot at taking on and beating almost any squad in USL this season (exceptions being CK, IV, and WH where I think they could sneak out a close game under the right circumstances, but skill & experience differences are going to be tough to overcome).
Predator: 85
I think he's more of a consistent, middle of the lineup marine for the upper tier squads he usually plays for. He's another one of those guys that plays solid every game and holds you in a match. In this case, he's required to step up and be the powerhouse marine in the lineup. I'm sure he's up to the task, but he needs guys to step in and fill his typical role.
Soulja: 82
Great marine with a tendency to show a bad attitude. I've always thought he was stronger at longer ranges which may play against him on EC, but with a less experienced squad like this he definitely needs to keep his attitude in check and be a leader.
Vince Carter: 81
VC is still a solid medic. He used to be one of those guys alongside evolution-, Sky, etc. that I would always go to if I was making/recruiting for a squad. Was great to play alongside, rarely let you down in a battle, and could help you turn the tide. Looking forward to seeing the positive impact he can have on Legends this season.
Lyric: 80
My rating differs a little from others, but I like Lyric. I think he's a steady marine that has some moments where he's able to string together a few kills and help win a battle. He's definitely one of the more experienced guys on the roster and needs to be a steady contributor this season.

For me, similar to Lyric in almost every regard. For some reason, I think of LMGs when I see his name though... he used to be a good one, right?
chica: 78
In terms of contribution to the season, I give chica a 100. Thank you for putting together this team and taking us up to 7 squads (at the time). I'm usually a little tougher on medics and I think this rating is pretty reflective. At the same time, I'll caveat that I haven't seen her play much!
Cage & Duer: 78
I'm putting these guys together because I get a similar feel when I run across them in pub. I would say that both have pretty good aim which makes them assets to squads like this, but they're also pretty easy to hit (so maybe focusing so much on aim that they don't care that they're getting hit). However, they both tend to position well and play smart. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do!
JarrY Judinny-1: 75
Still uses super annoying kill macros in pub.
Not rated because I'm not sure how they play or don't know them:

I have some special love for these guys. I want to say it was one of my last USL squads before my leave from the game and it was always fun. They've changed a little since last season, but I think they've done a great job filling the squad with very solid players. I think they're going to be a squad that's tough to face. I'm not really sure what to expect out of them from week to week, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've seen some odd scores in scrims lately. Seems like they can destroy a squad one game and have a really tough time right after. I think leadership is going to be interesting and I think everyone's waiting to see what Fausto (ExTrEmE(1)) and OMC (Ildjarn) add to the lineup.

I should know who this guy is, but I don't remember who ent/"Dave" is... could use a refresher. Everyone seemed to rate him pretty high, though... will leave this as a placeholder.
Killer: 90
One of my favorite players because he's so versatile and super aggressive. Reminds me of a much more talented version of myself. The craziest thing is, he can charge into a group, kill 3-4 and still make it out. He's usually pretty consistent, but can also bust out huge results in battles to shift the outcome of a game. If he's around and you're losing the match, always count your squad in. Sometimes a very high risk/reward player.
ExTrEmE(1): 88
Not to knock his play back in the day, but it seems like Fausto's aim has actually improved a lot. I used to see his name and think "easy kill" (j/k, buddy!), but he's caught me a few time with a stream of bullets at mid-long range. Must have bought a bigger monitor!
Ildjarn: 87
I'm basing this more off of past memory than current, but OMC is a very solid support marine for any lineup. He'll play smart, position well, and knows when to push. If he's up to OMC-standard, he'll be starting every game and will be a staple for this squad.
albert: 86
I feel like an 86 is a little high for albert, but I love his aggressive playstyle. He is another one that seems like he's improved since I saw him last and he can definitely surprise you if you make the mistake of underestimating him.
Kiediss: 84
In scrims, it seems like when he's around... nobody dies. I'm not sure that he's a top 5 medic in the league, but at worse.. he's right on the edge. Fun to watch.
King: 83
Great guy - fairly consistent as a marine and can always step it up a little as ripper. Probably the best ripper in the league if he decides to step into the red vest. Vocal guy that help direct the team when needed.
Jane: 82
This was my fantasy sleeper... WAS! Now all of the sudden 20 have you have jumped on the Jane bandwagon in the first week and I have to find someone else! She's always in the middle of battles and times her heals very well. Throws smart support grenades and isn't afraid to get in the front of a push. That last thing is also her weakness because it's easier to focus her down. :(
Ender: 80
If active, he'll remember how to execute. If not, the name still looks good on the bench.
Palm: 78
I see him as a solid support marine. He won't pick up a lot of kills, but he doesn't have to. He'll stay alive and keep pressure on the other team while the guys at the top of the list mop up the other team.
Ice: 78
Seems like he's still pretty solid and I'm probably rating him entirely too low!
Not rated - don't know enough about or not sure who they are:
1. District (used to be very solid - not sure how he plays now)
2. Metal (name is familiar, but don't know enough about the play)
3. noire (I'm not sure if the name should be familiar... but it is; other aliases? seems like a pretty consistent medic)
4. sniff (not entirely sure who this is, but good numbers in a couple of scrims I've seen)
5. Unb (don't know enough to rate him)

Let me go on record as saying that I'm REALLY pulling for this squad. This team, with the help of many players, is coming together and is ready to give it their all in season 3. Kudos to M for pulling the team together to give us an 8th squad. Kudos to ayb for putting in hours (that I've witnessed at super odd hours!) of work getting the squad informed & ready. I'm counting on this squad to shock at LEAST one or two squads into a close game or an upset. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of guys on this lineup that I feel comfortable rating! Time will tell guys - looking forward to a great season from you!
Noskeeper: 82
I'm probably giving him the highest rating that anyone will, but in the past couple of weeks... he's earned it! I thought he was almost a pushover a few weeks back in USL. Fast-forward, and he's stopping people dead in their tracks and turning them the other way. This guy is going to surprise a lot of people (already has).
BB: 79
I'm putting this one up a little bit because of experience. BB has been around a long time and knows how to play. Hopefully he'll rub off on the guys around him. Hopefully he'll show up and be active.
Black Crusader: 78
I'm going out on a limb with this one - I've seen him in pub and I think he has a lot of potential. Decent aim, doesn't have terrible positioning.. I think he's at that phase you go through in USL when you're more focused on killing than staying alive and that backfires on him.
ayb: 78
I'm giving him a 78 because he's going to out-work and out-practice every single player in USL this season. This guy is a grinder and a competitor. He -will- force himself and his team to get better. I look for him to play ripper from time to time and he does pretty well with it in pub. Practice your positioning & learn when to fall!
M: 76
I haven't seen a lot out of Cannibal, but I'm ready to be surprised!
Babble: 76
I'm seeing a little bit of potential out of Babble and I really hope he steps up for this team!

Fun guy to have on your squad - always super positive. He can play grenadier well and can also med, it seems... great guy to have around.

This guy misses so many heals on me in scrims. I'm sure there's a reason his medkit locks up 15 times every scrim, but I'm not sure that happens to anyone else. It's a special talent for sure, but one that warrants a special rating.

If they can show a full lineup of their top players, they can definitely contend with other squads. Legends have some experienced USL players that can lead them through matches and they have players that are capable of flashes of brilliance. Looking forward to seeing how they do, especially in critical matches. I would give them a solid shot at taking on and beating almost any squad in USL this season (exceptions being CK, IV, and WH where I think they could sneak out a close game under the right circumstances, but skill & experience differences are going to be tough to overcome).
Predator: 85
I think he's more of a consistent, middle of the lineup marine for the upper tier squads he usually plays for. He's another one of those guys that plays solid every game and holds you in a match. In this case, he's required to step up and be the powerhouse marine in the lineup. I'm sure he's up to the task, but he needs guys to step in and fill his typical role.
Soulja: 82
Great marine with a tendency to show a bad attitude. I've always thought he was stronger at longer ranges which may play against him on EC, but with a less experienced squad like this he definitely needs to keep his attitude in check and be a leader.
Vince Carter: 81
VC is still a solid medic. He used to be one of those guys alongside evolution-, Sky, etc. that I would always go to if I was making/recruiting for a squad. Was great to play alongside, rarely let you down in a battle, and could help you turn the tide. Looking forward to seeing the positive impact he can have on Legends this season.
Lyric: 80
My rating differs a little from others, but I like Lyric. I think he's a steady marine that has some moments where he's able to string together a few kills and help win a battle. He's definitely one of the more experienced guys on the roster and needs to be a steady contributor this season.

For me, similar to Lyric in almost every regard. For some reason, I think of LMGs when I see his name though... he used to be a good one, right?
chica: 78
In terms of contribution to the season, I give chica a 100. Thank you for putting together this team and taking us up to 7 squads (at the time). I'm usually a little tougher on medics and I think this rating is pretty reflective. At the same time, I'll caveat that I haven't seen her play much!
Cage & Duer: 78
I'm putting these guys together because I get a similar feel when I run across them in pub. I would say that both have pretty good aim which makes them assets to squads like this, but they're also pretty easy to hit (so maybe focusing so much on aim that they don't care that they're getting hit). However, they both tend to position well and play smart. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do!

I have some special love for these guys. I want to say it was one of my last USL squads before my leave from the game and it was always fun. They've changed a little since last season, but I think they've done a great job filling the squad with very solid players. I think they're going to be a squad that's tough to face. I'm not really sure what to expect out of them from week to week, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've seen some odd scores in scrims lately. Seems like they can destroy a squad one game and have a really tough time right after. I think leadership is going to be interesting and I think everyone's waiting to see what Fausto (ExTrEmE(1)) and OMC (Ildjarn) add to the lineup.

I should know who this guy is, but I don't remember who ent/"Dave" is... could use a refresher. Everyone seemed to rate him pretty high, though... will leave this as a placeholder.
Killer: 90
One of my favorite players because he's so versatile and super aggressive. Reminds me of a much more talented version of myself. The craziest thing is, he can charge into a group, kill 3-4 and still make it out. He's usually pretty consistent, but can also bust out huge results in battles to shift the outcome of a game. If he's around and you're losing the match, always count your squad in. Sometimes a very high risk/reward player.
ExTrEmE(1): 88
Not to knock his play back in the day, but it seems like Fausto's aim has actually improved a lot. I used to see his name and think "easy kill" (j/k, buddy!), but he's caught me a few time with a stream of bullets at mid-long range. Must have bought a bigger monitor!
Ildjarn: 87
I'm basing this more off of past memory than current, but OMC is a very solid support marine for any lineup. He'll play smart, position well, and knows when to push. If he's up to OMC-standard, he'll be starting every game and will be a staple for this squad.
albert: 86
I feel like an 86 is a little high for albert, but I love his aggressive playstyle. He is another one that seems like he's improved since I saw him last and he can definitely surprise you if you make the mistake of underestimating him.
Kiediss: 84
In scrims, it seems like when he's around... nobody dies. I'm not sure that he's a top 5 medic in the league, but at worse.. he's right on the edge. Fun to watch.
King: 83
Great guy - fairly consistent as a marine and can always step it up a little as ripper. Probably the best ripper in the league if he decides to step into the red vest. Vocal guy that help direct the team when needed.
Jane: 82
This was my fantasy sleeper... WAS! Now all of the sudden 20 have you have jumped on the Jane bandwagon in the first week and I have to find someone else! She's always in the middle of battles and times her heals very well. Throws smart support grenades and isn't afraid to get in the front of a push. That last thing is also her weakness because it's easier to focus her down. :(
Ender: 80
If active, he'll remember how to execute. If not, the name still looks good on the bench.
Palm: 78
I see him as a solid support marine. He won't pick up a lot of kills, but he doesn't have to. He'll stay alive and keep pressure on the other team while the guys at the top of the list mop up the other team.
Ice: 78
Seems like he's still pretty solid and I'm probably rating him entirely too low!
Not rated - don't know enough about or not sure who they are:
1. District (used to be very solid - not sure how he plays now)
2. Metal (name is familiar, but don't know enough about the play)
3. noire (I'm not sure if the name should be familiar... but it is; other aliases? seems like a pretty consistent medic)
4. sniff (not entirely sure who this is, but good numbers in a couple of scrims I've seen)

Let me go on record as saying that I'm REALLY pulling for this squad. This team, with the help of many players, is coming together and is ready to give it their all in season 3. Kudos to M for pulling the team together to give us an 8th squad. Kudos to ayb for putting in hours (that I've witnessed at super odd hours!) of work getting the squad informed & ready. I'm counting on this squad to shock at LEAST one or two squads into a close game or an upset. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of guys on this lineup that I feel comfortable rating! Time will tell guys - looking forward to a great season from you!
Noskeeper: 82
I'm probably giving him the highest rating that anyone will, but in the past couple of weeks... he's earned it! I thought he was almost a pushover a few weeks back in USL. Fast-forward, and he's stopping people dead in their tracks and turning them the other way. This guy is going to surprise a lot of people (already has).
BB: 79
I'm putting this one up a little bit because of experience. BB has been around a long time and knows how to play. Hopefully he'll rub off on the guys around him. Hopefully he'll show up and be active.
Black Crusader: 78
I'm going out on a limb with this one - I've seen him in pub and I think he has a lot of potential. Decent aim, doesn't have terrible positioning.. I think he's at that phase you go through in USL when you're more focused on killing than staying alive and that backfires on him.
ayb: 78
I'm giving him a 78 because he's going to out-work and out-practice every single player in USL this season. This guy is a grinder and a competitor. He -will- force himself and his team to get better. I look for him to play ripper from time to time and he does pretty well with it in pub. Practice your positioning & learn when to fall!
M: 76
