As silly as it might sound to some, a good sized chunk of players said they wouldn’t want to play on nights GoT is on. So that’s why we’re having a casual SL Draft season and starting after Memorial Day.

I figured since we'll be starting after 10pm EST, Mother's Day celebrations should be over for most people by then. Obviously West Coasters might still be having dinner around then or other family activities, but it's what we got to work with.

It must be so sad to be so poor that you can’t afford the DVR add on... its $12 a month extra. Stupid broke boys. Sigh.

DVR / HBO Go were discussed in regards to Game of Thrones for what it's worth. Unfortunately the players who want to make sure they can watch GoT do not trust trolls from this community to not spam spoilers during matches. And since the league would probably have been starting around the last couple of episodes of GoT - I can't blame people for not wanting the final couple of episodes possibly spoiled.

It is what it is dudes. Enjoy the SL season. We'll probably have a modified KR and HS's new map to test. Maybe a few item changes too. Let's make use of this extra few weeks to test that stuff.

i'm just thankful that all of the reasons listed for delaying another exciting USL season are somehow partial to USL alone, and that SL will remain unaffected by these problems and will showcase riveting team play in an active, spoiler free environment.

SL matches will start after 10pm. Where as in USL you have the potential for matches to start at 8:45 or 9:30. SL is also much more optional and players signing up are the players who are less worried about GoT.

When are we going to start talking about the fantastic changes we will be implementing for usl next season? :)))))))))))))))))

i don't understand the schedule. what are those things planned for the few weeks after the draft and leading up to the season? practice matches? preseason games? what's the difference between SL and USL? i thought there was only one league
