We've made a few minor changes to the rules this season with two more to come in Weeks 2 & 3 as we finalize (roster lock & playoff format). A summary of changes is below. Please respond to the forum post with any questions.
Rule 3.3: Non-Team Players are now allowed, by default, in all regular season matches provided they meet the requirements of an NT (see the rest of Section 3 in the rules). For playoffs, NTs are disallowed unless both captains agree to allow them.
Rule 4.1: Roster limits have moved from 12 starters/4 bench to 16 starters/0 bench.
Rule 5.4: The following has been added to the visual lag rule to further empower our referee staff to take action on visual lag that may impact a match. "Referees are encouraged to take quick action against players that are visually lagging, even if it is during the middle of a battle. The player visually lagging may provide an unfair advantage during those seconds of battle resulting in the course of the game being unfairly changed."
Rule 6.1/6.3: Changed to remove references to time.gov as a standard clock and give referees some discretion to allow for minor delays when attempting to start a match with a goal of reducing/eliminating potential forfeits and keeping games on equal footing (prior rules would punish teams by losing a player for ## minutes for certain pre-game activities).
Rule 6.4: Revised for EC. Players may cross the opposing team's rape lines, but MAY NOT FIRE any weapons. Firing will result in the typical punishment of a loss of a team slot. This means you can pass through rape lines for the purpose of repositioning your team at the risk of being caught without the ability to return fire until you cross back over the lines.c
Roster lock: Will be announced before week 2 games.
Playoff format: Will be announced before week 3 games
