It's the same formula as the old websites. Is it any surprise that the person with the best stats and most awards is the highest rank? Yeah I must have totally planned that. Maybe if you actually participated in the league instead of crying on the forums about some pixels missing from your profile, then you may have something higher than private.

I think this account was tied to the squad gl hf. it wouldnt allow me to dissolve the squad so i wanted to keep an account on there.
