Use this thread to discuss the current poll about the season format. Which system do you prefer? If you chose other please post your thoughts here.

For anyone who is unaware of the format details:

- Predetermined map rotation is the format in which the map is set in the schedule and rotates weekly.

- Pick/defer system is the system we used to use where the home team has the choice of either picking the map or deferring the map pick to the away team and the home team can choose the side. If the home team picks the map, the away team gets to pick the side.

- Coin flip is similar to the defer system. It's an in game command (*coinflip) that is used by the referee that randomly chooses heads or tails. The home team gets the call of the flip. The winner of the coin flip gets to either choose the map or pick the side.

The reason I voted predetermined is... when we had map choice it ended up being EC 90% of the time, and that map is so fucking boring.

I wonder if I should have done the maps poll first.

Either way, keep in mind that the next poll will be about which maps to use for the season. If that helps you make a decision on the format.

Definitely predetermined because there is too much childish bullshit involved when people get to pick (plus what mecca said).

Other than maps are we going to try to test changes or fix classes like nader?

Yes we will be revisiting class changes as well. There are a few ideas I've seen floating around. I will make a post about that soon.
