There's a poll up for the map pool going into season 19.

Just want to remind people that HellSpawn has made some changes to the KS10 map. So before you vote against it please check out the changes.

Changes are all circled minus the rape-line extensions.

I like the changes, HS. On the left change, what about adding a 3rd exit on the southside? (Unless I can't see it because of the circle). Probably not worth changing up the north much because of how little used north is on all maps, but maybe adding a coord height and giving a variety of angles/obstacles/chokes would be beneficial instead of having one giant choke intersection above EC mid.

Bomb's map hasn't been included in the rotation in a while now so by all maps I meant Apollo, EC, KR, KS10.

I was wondering besides KS10 if any other map is going to be changed. I would prefer all maps to be played if we get any tune up. IMO have all maps in the pool for regular season but have a smaller map pool decided for playoffs.

For playoffs I may just do top seed can pick map or side and then for champs winner of duels gets to pick map or side.

Regular season will still be a predetermined rotation.

Should do x amount of maps in rotation and instead of picking, do 2 or even just the champs a map that isn't in rotation.

Well the problem is that we don't have that many maps. So a rotation of the same 2 maps in the regular season would become a little boring imo.

Champ, do you still plan on making those KR edits to the structures surrounding the titan rape lines?

Yes I will be fixing the titan rape lines a little bit because the physics of the buildings below the DS make it pretty hard to move around without bumping yourself back into the lines.

With the map poll being so close I'm trying to think of a compromise that might make everyone happy.

One thing I'm thinking of is including KS10 (once) in the regular season but not letting it be a map to choose from in the playoffs/champs.

That's probably fine. I think the biggest gripe was it being used so many times last season. Also, if HS is improving it maybe we can reconsider using in playoffs if the improvements makes the community happy?

Maybe if we use KS10 week 1 or week 2 then I can make a poll a day after the matches are done to see if they want to also include it in the playoffs/champs.

I think people might change their mind once they get to play on it with the changes.
