There will be a meeting held in USL tonight to discuss the future of this game. As of today the funds that have been paying for the server are no longer paying for it. This means that the server will go down around the middle of November.

If we want to keep this game going a player-donation system is going to need to happen. We will discuss everything in the USL zone tonight.

How much do we need to raise per month. I'll contribute a good amount. Let me know. I'm being serious.

A donation account was set up for the servers [email protected] is basically all that was discussed. There's concerns about server quality, game being run better if people are going to donate, etc..

Don't worry about the servers costs people. Alot of us have good jobs now. Server is at 0 risk of not being paid for.

120$ a month seems steep for 5 zones and 80 max players

Are they better servers or the same kon was paying for?

There is potential to upgrade to better servers depending on the donations. But from what I understand (according to kon) is new servers wont fix the lag. It's the game code.

i imagine it will fix the random "holy shit everyone is lagging", then ace/mizz or someone else restarts the server and its fine.

it won't fix the ball lag in sport zones or anything similar to that though

Mizz wants his next big project to be re-coding the way the server handles lag, so hopefully in the future things like ball lag will cease to exist.
