3-4 months ago I started messaging people on the Facebook Infantry group to try and revive the game. I spammed every discord I could find trying to get people to come back and logon.

They told us “the game is dead. Let it stay dead.”

Did we quit? No.

We started with a modest 5 people on in SK in red and blue.

5 grew to 10. 10 to 20. And the rest was history. Before you know if we had a start date for the season.

And now look at us, a very successful season ending today.

3 of the squads in my opinion are competitive. Mine? Not so much, and I put the blame fully on myself as I am the captain and leader.

To my squad, I have failed you. But I truly tried my best to try and do what I thought was best for the squad. You have all made me proud.

Thank you all who decided to come back and give this league another chance.

Here’s to another 10 seasons of USL. Thank you so much for being here. We look forward to hopefully have 6 squads next season! It will definitely be more competitive matches for sure.

Never stop believing in yourself. If you want something done, get out there and get it done. That’s the only way to succeed in life. If you wait for something to fall in your lap, you’ll be stuck waiting forever.

A big thanks to DP, Eric, Chris, Ace, Jovan, Ljenks, MP, all the refs, and if I missed someone I’m sorry. Without you guys this season would not have happened.

A special thanks to MP, who in my opinion has made this season and league so much more interesting. The man does it all, from editing maps to making great content for YouTube so we can all enjoy. So thanks to you brother.

Thank you to all the captains who stepped up to make squads and come back to this game we all love.
