I was a bit tongue-in-cheek yesterday in one of the SBs when I said we need another Logitech tournament, but I do think contests with real prizes would be a great way to generate excitement.

For instance, we don't need Entrance Tournaments anymore, but how about a Commencement Tournament at the beginning of each season with not only a USL Award recognition to the winning team, but also prizes? One format could be the MVP of the winning tournament squad gets the biggest prize and every member of that winning squad gets a smaller participation prize.

The prize can be something like a Best Buy gift card since then people can apply it to whatever they want. We don't need to be constrained to a particular product since it's not actually sponsored. While I'd be willing to entirely fund the first event (for reasonable prizes), it would obviously be a lot better if we could crowdfund these contests.

Everyone will be broke just send it to me already mvp jaws.

I know myself and a lot of people were willing to throw in some donations for the server again so I’m sure people would be willing to donate a few bucks to a tourny of some sort. I’m down.

Everyone needs to appreciate the staffs efforts. Even if changes kill the game I'm thankful they are working any amount of time to attempt to make things nicer/ more fun. Eric Chris and MP huge shoutout specifically, but not limited to them.

Oct's test zone has some really fun ideas, are we planning to use some of these settings they seem fun.

Octs zone is not supposed to be a [USL] zone. He went rogue on this and even said he just wanted to make a map with those settings. Which is fine, make it [SK]

The way people play for internet points .. imagine if there were actual monetary prizes on the line. Do you think it will entice players to balance gameplay for fun and enjoyment or to win at any and all costs?

I say we do the prizes in a tournament BUT the tournament has handicap kill spread lines in the match. For example;

Hellcats vs Crap shooters.

The handicap line will be Crap Shooters -55 kills.

Crap shooters to win the game has to win by more than 55 kills.

This gives ALL an EQUAL chance to win the prizes.

This is a genius idea to level it out for the prize tournaments. Tell me I’m wrong.

This will also FORCE action.
