Breakdown

Just when you think you have a good idea how the season is going to turn out, you have a Week 2 Result, and everything is instantly back up in the air. Following a doubler header disaster for Zero Tolerance, will Taking Backs Sunday have the chops to deny Zero Tolerance a win for the third week in a row?
Possible, Yes. Likely, No.
Taking Backs Sunday put up a noble effort against Over 9000 last week in one of the wilder matches I've ever seen in my time watching USL. An 11-v-11 affair, TBS kept the score close and even had a lead for a time as Backs's sniper rifle was giving O9K players fits in the beginning. But 09K stabilized, swapped a few classes, and gained a third medic - and the subsequent assault proved too much for TBS.
But this game is entirely different, as Zero Tolerance is still reeling from morale-crushing back-to-back losses against Hungry Beavers and True Kombat Overlords. Can Backs marshal his men to victory in a game that absolutely will have post-season implications?
Night C and Universal Soldier put in solid performances last week, despite the loss. But TBS is going to need players like negativezero and Ghoul to control their deaths and contribute more in firefights if they are going to be able to hold on and snake the win this week. Are they capable of getting the job done this week? Absolutely.
Projected Lineup:
9/11/01, Anal, Ghoul, Lunar Tick, negativezero, Flash (if nt's are allowed), Chica and SailorMoonMan
Zero Tolerance enter this game with their backs to the wall. Look on the bright side - you can only go up from here, and ZT is going to come into this game hungry to put a (1) in the win column. Last week I said that I expected to see ZT's identity be revealed, as they had a solid core of players, but lacked an opportunity to show their coordination against 09K in Week 1. Unfortunately, what we saw is a team that absolutely fell apart without Guerilla in the game. What exactly happened is anybody's guess, but momentum was certainly a factor, and the drumming they received from Hungry Beavers clearly didn't help with confidence walking into the TKO match. Zero Tolerance need to refocus and return to this game mentally prepared to play the best game they can on Sunday - because TBS would love to steal a win here if they are allowed. I think Zero Tolerance are easily the better team on paper, but now it's a question of which team shows up. One notable change is the addition of talented marine/medic combo Kiedis, who certainly can be asset for this team should they choose to use him. Does Splittah actually show this Sunday? Does Military Police make his first appearance for ZT? Is this the week that Danny goes off? I have so many questions, and I'm looking forward to watching ZT answer those questions Sunday night at 11:00 PM
Projected Lineup:
Brillhart, Danny, Guerilla, Kevin, King, Spartacus, Apollo, Havok (Kiedis if nt's are allowed)
Result:
I may end up with egg on my face for this again, but I truly think ZT is a talented roster that just needs to get their shit together. Once they do, that's a force to be reckoned with. I'm saying this week is that week, and Guerilla/Spartacus/Danny are going to slay all who stand before them.
Final Score:
67-29 - Zero Tolerance. MVP - Danny
