No, made the decision for week 1. Game ban ends on Saturday night. Person in question will be silenced in game permanently anyway..however if there's any further issues an in game ban would be enforced and that would extend to league play as well.

Sucks to play that good as Ripper but it's overshadowed by being a proper cunt.

Also I agree with Rom on this game being a time capsule of sorts when it comes to the internet, however we're not acne-ridden teenagers anymore. Time to grow up Oct.

Shout out to the USL live guys. I enjoy these a lot. Thanks Bowen. Romu. Mecca. Yosh. Your effort doesn’t go unnoticed. You guys make this game that much more entertaining.

Also, shoutout to Bowen, who allowed Oct to play. Bowen proves he’s a man of character. A real man. Not a petty man. I know another person who probably would have left him banned. Bowen saw that it was in the benefit of the league to let Oct play. It was a smart business decision. He put his personal endeavor aside and made the right call.

Love Bowen, and ive already made my opinion clear, but its going to be unanimous that game bans are never temporarily removed for league for any reason.

@Tyrael - Did you just say that your opinion is unanimous with yourself? I'm so confused by that comment.

But like I said on the podcast, I think bans should be short and harsh. Minimum 7-day ban that obviously includes the Sunday as well. I have yet to see any type of conduct that for me would be deserving of a lifetime ban, so I think graduated sanctions are far more effective to address petty, childish behavior.

But my shithousery tolerance level is pretty high, and that's in no small part to playing this game when I was 13-19 years old.

Dont try to poke lawyer holes into comments you doof; its going to be unanimous that the general, sane public would agree that bans dont get lifted, especially if your HMod did it.

I mean right or wrong decision, question was asked while I was in my own game and had about 30 minutes to decide with no input. Right decision? Doesn't seem that way based on feedback and even got a hand slap for it and rightfully so, but it was the decision I made in the spur of the moment so that a squad didn't get handicapped by a squad member's poor judgement. That particular judgement call won't happen again, but if it's the last poor decision I make as an admin I'd call it a success :). I stand by my reasoning on it, but I accept when I make a bad call. I honestly appreciate everyone's feedback on it

Oct got banned for a week by MP for being his usual stupid shit self but he whined and cried to be able to play and his ban was temporarily lifted just so he could play but now hes being allowed to play this weekend as well, so his punishment wasnt actually a punishment.

Idk what happened but I was once suspended for a SBL playoff game for misbehaving on the forums
