Should we exclude 2 squads based of there kills alone? Armor I think we should do a 8-squad playoffs or 6-squad with top 2 getting a bye week.

Don't try to dissociate yourself from it now, the decision was made and the result may in fact be what you just said, and yes the decision here will be a big part of it. If you don't promote an evenly balanced league DO NOT expect one.

I'm not promoting an unbalanced league, I'm promoting a competitive league. I think we have to shift talent from top squads down to middle/bottom squads and I think you can find a few actions of mine that prove that over the past several weeks. As I said before, that responsibility ultimately falls on players and captains.

Know that I'm not trying to disassociate myself from anything. I've made a decision and I feel it's the right one. You guys will get to make an important decision in a few weeks, and I hope you make the right one. If players start to stack squads and I use some administrative authority to break it up and divide the talent, the same people that say the admin is at fault are the players that would riot. Fact is, people are going to play with who they want to and the last thing anyone is going to do is try to force players to do otherwise. Players will always do what they want - that includes showing up for matches that they think are beneath them.

I've heard from you all that the players don't care about e-rings and only care about the community - then on the other hand you talk about how you think BOTR is a bad thing (remember, there is a skill gap in this league and always will be if we're "growing"), say things like "don't say I didn't tell you so!", and start pushing/planning/theorizing that the league is going to revert to stacked squads. If you really care about the community, try to help the newer squads get better. Try to help SA get better instead of commenting about how they probably won't show a full roster to playoffs while players who -do- care about the community are actively working to make sure that doesn't happen. Don't treat lower squads as "stat pad" games or refer to them as that - try to help them grow into a squad that's at least competitive for that middle ground.

One of the best things that's happened this season was Legends keeping it close with IV in the first 15 minutes and how awesome it was when SA started out strong against AF. It's good to see squads and players grow, and it's good for the league. They grow through competition, learning, and good sportsmanship by other squads. It takes more than a good administrator to grow a league. I'm not disassociating myself with anything - but I would argue that you, and several others, are not exactly associating themselves with activities that are fostering any sort of growth and development.


I'm not going to get dragged into any back and forth debate around this topic like we had last week. You've all got my thoughts now and you'll all draw your own conclusions and opinions of it. In fact, of all of the polls we've had - the average top answer scores a 47%. You guys all have differing opinions and it's rare that any decision gets an overwhelming majority of support.

You say it was nice to see teams keeping it close, sure that's nice and all armor, but consider the teams not in your top 4, they will be looking to pick up the best KDR during those games to better their chances of getting into a playoff spot. So expect more of it. Then you got squads like CK, all they wanna do is have gold ratings and the best KDR possible, hence mecca's highest bty ever recorded.

I've been on my fair share of squads that i joined solely to help out. This competitiveness is a double edged sword. for many reasons, most of which have been pointed out, but simply just dismissed as whining.

I like you as an Admin, but I just think this is a poor direction to head in.

Pretty sure lots of people, self included have helped & offered help to SA. Maybe a lot of you don't know what it's like being on a squad when you're new getting raped by 50+ kills. I know if I was on a squad that didn't win a squad all season, I would want the new season to start as soon as possible and not drag out my specific season any longer with a botr

You mean you couldn't care less? Armor has no vision but maybe he could talk to champion about that. Playoffs sucked last season so I voted in a way that I thought would make them more competitive. Apparently others(two-faced) disagree with me

Just make it captain's choice to play or not play BOTR. That way they can figure out internally if their team wants to do it. If one team decides they want a BOTR match and the other not, then no match is played and the award goes to the team with a better record or k/d. Same idea plays out if both decide not to have a BOTR match.
Bottom two squads only for BOTR. All the rest in playoffs.

I think SA didnt defeat us because of all the trolls wanting to have playtime when they didnt even show during the week for practice and if that squads fades is because of the trolls not wanting to commit and help their team out.

Lower roster limits next season to help spread talent tbh.

Ec kills activity I warned you all at the beginning of the season, it happened on ec in season 1 too.

How is it fair for sa/legends to make playoffs? The games would be blow outs and discourage those players to show up even more. It's a foregone conclusion.

And to address stacking, maybe you guys whining are never on stacked squads because a) you're bad and b) you have toxic attitudes towards the league and c) are not friends with any good players.

I understand you want to get this decision made promptly and even understand that you know that there will be back-lash regardless of what outcome was chosen but there are still many aspects that we have not even figured out (like my previous post about a 3-way tie). Is this league really trying to promote being competitive if a team will have to camp outside an enemy base just to get higher Kills so they can be granted to enter the playoffs?
