Wednesday I took my computer in to be looked at.
Technician did a series of stress tests, determined I had some faulty wiring causing the issue. After a few more tests he discovered where the problem specifically was (multiple causes actually).
Problem is we had to order these new cables, and shipping puts them here on Monday. So until then I my computer is decommissioned, meaning I will not be doing SL Live again this weekend.
As far as I know, Prisoner should be able to record a game or two, unless his schedule has changed.
Apologies for the downtime on the show production. This overheating issue has definitely been an unforeseen and rather costly roadblock.
