Here is a picture of how I would edit apollos map in order to truly make it more playable and the reasons as to why
First I think the map has to much stuff going on, way too easy to hold and mirror what someone else is doing because every flank requires a death trap or a super long flank where you leave your team exposed. Collie is way to easy to camp currently and it wont take people long to figure it out.
Changes & Reasons
1. I dont know the purpose of this long rock, I think by shortening it it allows people to actually use it to flank or get another angle on a group pushing right hand side of KR. Currently it just helps collie because its so easy to counter that long flank.
2. That choke is way to small there, its ab absolute death trap how does titan fall back from pushing collie, its either out in the open above weed, under weed so easy to get streamed and cut off, going through that small choke will be law central and really only helps collie. By widening it both teams can use it as a flank choice when fighting right hand side or on KR.
3. Open a door to weed going under is a death trap you made 1 straight way under weed and then under that rock very little choices. It wont be used for camping there are much better places to choose.
4. This was quite possible the worst part of the entire map! If collie holds that bottom choke in front or barricades do you know how long a flank takes? and then that flank involves a tunnel? Its ridiculous and perfectly set up to camp. This is not KR map so open it up so it can be used as flank theres already enough physics and ridges there for law creativity falling.
5. 2nd worse thing on the map is this tunnel again if you hold below tunnel where can you break that from? You cant you have to leave and try to fight north but obviously the team will know what youre doing and it will be a cake walk to counter. Cut that half rock opening tunnel leave little cave for a hiding spot you can even make it deeper so its more usable. This creates 2 places to fight when that hold happens and an easier flank without exposing your entire team to a push because a flank takes 8 minutes.
6. People rarely fight north it does not matter the map yet people dont understand that by removing that lake you have an open field that would be great for laws open fire and also make more use of that building there. Would also make for very good fights from KR to north, currently I see no need to ever go north!
7. I like the escape tunnels you made and you set collie up perfectly with being able to respawn and choose where to go without the enemy knowing. I think you do the same for titan make dropship aim at the tunnel that way people dont know where you are going, another good idea would be to make a wider exit mid way through the tunnel so it can be used when there is a fight right of KR.
Well I think these things will definitely help the overall gameplay of the map. Tried to be as constructive as possible without bashing.
Why not change the ground either? hard to see ridges but that could be just a preference of mine so well see what people say.
