It doesn't decrease your rating if you've missed a game. Only if you've missed 65% of them.

Does that mean, if people play 3 of the 7 games, ratings remain unchanged by games played?

No. That's 42%.

I guess a better way to explain it is if you're at 65% or below on the games played your rating goes down. The next threshold is 35% which goes down slightly more.

why my rating drop?

I say we just get rid of ratings, too many people always complaining about their rating and Chris is doing all the work.

I d/c in game at the 24min mark, basically wiped my alias so when I came back I lost all my assist points.

Now my rating has dropped by 13points despite going 3-0 and having the most assist points in my team (even though it didn't log).

What do you want me to do? Make up assist points for you? Anything outside of the website is out of my control. If you disconnected and the stat file lost your stats I can't really do anything about that.

So much whining about ratings. It would probably be a good idea to just remove them.

The rating system isn't open for correction. I suggested getting rid of it seasons ago because it's not administered well.

Because we don't have a good formula. We're using a rating formula from another league (modified by ER). No one has offered to try and fix it because as far as I can tell no one who plays is a statistician. I commend ER for trying to get us a working formula but as we can see everyone has nothing but complaints about it.

Edit: Don't know if it's possible but you could also just remove assist POINTS completely and make it "Assists."
+3 for a kill
-2 for a death
+2 for an assist

Also, have refs SS stats every 10 minutes in the match. (Don't know if they already do this.)

Top 10, player pages, squad pages and match pages have been redone to remove ratings.

Top 10:
- Shows KDR, Games, KPG for Combat Classes.
- Shows KDR, Assist, Team Deaths and Efficiency Points for Medics

Player Pages:
- Shows KDR, KPG. Your KDR and KPG will show in gold if you reach the threshold (3 KDR+ & 10KPG+).

Squad Pages:
- Same as player pages

Match Pages:
- Removed "Top 10 Player" for match previews and added the squad's roster. This will help refs as well when they need to check the rosters for their matches.

I'm tired of all the whining and complaining over ratings, so they're gone until someone can come up with something that works.
