This is the biggest match of the season so far as it will most likely play a key factor on who makes the playoffs. Everything is on the line, Khaos vs Herc, Jairon vs slobco, it is too close to call!

Breakdown

On paper worms have one of the strongest line ups in the game, although so far we have not seen what they should be capable of achieving.

FiN@L~F@Te were the 1 squad I said at the beginning of the season capable of causing upsets against friends/snakes and worms. This is the final chance they have, a win over worms would stand them with a possible chance of making the playoffs (needing some luck of BB beating worms in the final week).

They have home which is an advantage, and they have capable marines and still in my opinion superiour leadership in Khaos which is CRITICAL in this match.

I watched them closely against snakes 2 weeks ago, and it was the best game of the season so far for FiN@L~F@Te despite the loss. I have seen FF play and lead terrible, mainly due to the medic situation and lack of quality marines. Against snakes though in that match, they lead very well with Khaos/Maddux coming up big. Ultimately what let them down was they weren't deadly enough in getting those opening kills, as a result it often allowed snakes to re-position and pick FiN@L~F@Te off. Against worms they need to watch they don't repeat history, they need to be disciplined in every fall and not over extend as they will be punished and I expect Jane and whoever else is medding to have a tough time.

They have home, they need to practice and essentially plan ahead of Sunday and be 1 unit. In order for FF to win they need to be strong as a team and play smart to send worms underground.

Key things to work on:
- Organisation
- Clinical Finishing (focus fire)
- Disciplined falls (stop over extending)
- Meds play safe, just can't drop at beginning of battles to the laws from Devil/SM (trust me, I have been there before)
- Focus out herc, last week leading he got exposed by friends.
- Fausto/Colossal (this is your week to step up and carry)

worms

On paper they have one of the best marine line ups ingame, although it just hasn't clicked for me so far this season. Last week they were missing 1 key player (tris) and they just looked very average. I watched SM closely and he is still very good, although he needs help. Jek has nt'd for me multiple tims and always tended to rank, although Sunday I was ready to sign him up for New Money. slobco I had already submitted a name change to shit&co, catching bad streams, laws and just awful positioning. Some of the heals they missed due to positioning was just terrible. They are solid meds although it was just a weird/awful game for them. Splittah is faded, he is playing like a shit version of Deviak. Herc had 11 deaths, although taking that out of the equation, he has always been one of my favourite marine for his game awareness/intelligence, although on Sunday he reminded me coolmo trying to locate ayb's playbook.

worms need kaga to show and med, he is so reliable and clutch, he will keep his marines alive. If tris shows they have a strong chance of winning, if not, this will be a dogfight.

Key things to work on / hints&tips:
- Lead with convinction (there seems to be lack of ownership/clear direction on the leading)
- Passive main, strong flank. Use a solo like SM when needed. Makes flank Tris/bmei/SM(sometimes solo) kaga... let them win the battles. Herc can then just lead main and be passive and control the matches, he can't die at the beginning of battles.
- Jek go LMG
- Get kaga to med / tris to show
- Work in teams, so many individuals not focusing on the right people

Match outcome:

I can see it being a close and relatively small scoring match. Key factors will be whether tris shows up and how FF lead and deal with a superior marine front who will pick on their meds.

I think worms will win, although it will be a close match and it will go down to the final battle most likely.

34-29 to worms - kaga mvp

Kippa; nice analysis. Great perspective on the weaknesses and strengths of both squads. I do agree with you for the majority of the write up. Here's my take on a few of your points and observations you made.

To further pursue your statement of having someone help open battles from the Final Fate side; we made a transition a couple of weeks ago with Khaos giving me the leading reigns vs snakes and onward. However, If Khaos deems it necessary to have him lead vs Worms; I will be more than happy to step aside as he is a great leader regardless. Moreover, back to our inner squad transition it has allowed Khaos to concentrate his abilities toward the opposition and demolishing them in the process. To reiterate what you said; Khaos and Maddux did well vs snakes and did not lose a flank battle. Khaos & Colossal are excellent at opening up battles; we are still in process of building chemistry and executing fundamentals such as (falls and pushes). Hopefully we have enough time in the season or week to improve on this aspect. In regards to our medic situation; I cannot explain a medic eating a law at the beginning of the battle; but i've seen less and less our medics getting caught out of position during a battle which is an improvement. If we can avoid those initial laws; it will help our marines tremendously versus an excellent marine line up in Worms.

Worms are a good group of guys; The have a lot of chemistry when compared to us; I hardly see them squad battle as they usually SB Late; but I know their solo flanks are usually well executed. I am not too sure who leads Worms, but I have noted great transitional movements before and after battles which allows Worms to set up or run in formations quicker than other squads. I also agree that their marine line up is at the top of this season's list.

I look forward to this match as this one is more important to us, Final Fate, than Worms.
