As a UK basketball fan during the Billy Gillispie era, I could deal with constant loss after constant loss and laughed it off, but for example, a final four loss last season to Wisconsin or a title game loss to Uconn a few years back sucked WAY worse then those years. Same with Ohio State when we were under penalty. Sucked to have a shitty year but the title game losses to LSU/Florida and even the MSU loss this year is way worse then a down year you know its going to be a down year and let's be honest - Browns fans know it's going to be a down year ever year (sry dp).


Bills aren't worse for that reason. Lost 4 straight but haven't really been all that close since.

Nah I know Nick, I've seen more disappointment from my Indians/Cavs/Buckeyes in my lifetime. I'm used to the Browns just being losers and not going anywhere, The other 2 have gone places and lost in horrible ways. Yeah it's easier because you never got invested. But why be a sports fan if your going to have minimal interest. Wow just made myself question why I still watch football / bball at the moment knowing my teams suck.

I'm invested - I still watch the games. Losses still suck but it's not like losing a game you think you should have won or could have won that was important. Those suck way more.
