Since SL failed horribly, I was thinking we could do something else..

Is there any interest in restarting NMLTL? At least for the off season. 5v5 etc, I still have the updated NMLTL map that Armor and I made on SOE. Of course there would be a few tweaks etc to be done, re balance it a little bit here and there, BUT, I was thinking it might be a fun little venture. I still have the rules and stuff, and I know it peaked interest for a little while but SL and USL were so strong that it faded after 8 seasons. Smaller squad sizes and team sizes seem like a nice off season league.


On another note, anybody who played soccerbrawl please contact me. I am fixing your bloody zone and need some information on which arena you would like etc.

Fleet League is a better choice

Dobbo Stadium was the last arena we used Palm. and <3 for fixing it bb

Also the ball issues were completely fixed, the only problem we had was the nets were not working properly. Sometimes they would count goals sometimes they wouldnt. You can score north corner of the net but not the south corner, things like that.

Basically just the nets need fixing I believe and the zone is good 2 go.

Yes it's the smaller one. Should say Dobbo in the top left corner.

Has a parking lot behind each net aswell(I believe the larger map just has stands behind them).

Idk north and south bases still too strong in nml.

Could you post a SS of the map you guys tweaked?

Pros: Smaller map = quicker games, smaller teams = more teams = more competitive.

Cons: Trees = passive playing = camping.

if we could come up with fixes for the camping, I would like it better. Maybe do a 2 week tournament thing, set up prize pools for the winner. I would throw in something

Yea Apollo, I will find it when I get home. From what I remember the trees were thinned out a little and we cut tye trenches way back and made the areas where the trenches were rocky and such. Had a dueling area for pre game side picking. But again, changes can be made. I personally think it would be fun, but that is my opinion. I enjoyed playing nmltl and was admin of it for awhile after ahj. I will post the SS if it when I can.

Also, if anyone has other ideas throw them out, doesn't have to be nmltl, it was just a thought. With ctfpl in the hole it would be nice to have a second league with different style of play. Soccerbrawl once fixed I hope will get that crowd back. Anyways, all suggestions, thoughts, comments, etc are appreciated. Thanks.
