This is definitely real. I've known daes for a long time and have been playing Inf w him since 2000. Anyone that's ever been on a squad with him knows that he is a genuinely good dude, and is the last person you'd think something like this would happen to. Understandable that he wouldn't want to share the fact that he's serving a life sentence since, you know, that's sort of an insane thing that you probably don't want to share with everyone.

I'm a law student at the University of Kentucky right now. While I have absolutely no experience whatsoever with Filipino law or Canadian extradition law, my University allows me 3-6 credit hours if I take on pro-bono work, including legal defense for the indigent or disenfranchised. I think your case might qualify, and I might be able to get access to general counsel at the University to assist with your case.

You'd think when you're in jail for something you didn't do that you wouldn't be embarrassed to share and would be using every means necessary to get the story out.
