With PGH being all but eliminated last week we have a few good matches this week between the playoff competitors.
BrownTown v Rejects
Rejects has been on such an upswing since Andrew left, and like Leo said in his post-match interview he's a good player, its just him leaving has opened up the doors for Fax/Danny to marine and really open battles, which allows Mafia to med (he's my cavebeast winner this year)
BT:
ER - will actually have to play the whole game this week, interesting to see which marine ends up with top kills.
Pandy - Despite a very high death count, will probably end the season as deadliest marine.
em4awon - Kind of fell of this season, too much trolling in pub is showing in matches (i call it the vince carter effect)
yosh - BT plays so much better when yosh leads, I'd have him lead over Darth, plus yosh is a better marine so you're not losing anything.
Shasta - consistent marine, not as good in tough matches, will be interesting to see his score if the game stays close.
Uni2k - Basically same as shasta, plays really well in stat pads and blow outs, but gets exposed in tougher games.
Stavudine - Plays like a god on BT - probably will finish second in best med this season.
manu/neg - Interchangable it seems this season, manu lag problems?
Rejects:
Dave - Has given some leadership responsibilities to Leo, which is probably a good idea given his track record in big matches. Leo lead very well last week in what should have been a lot closer game.
Leak - Life blood / leader - Rejects would probably not make the playoffs without Leak, he can lead and solo and adds a lot to this squad, he reminds me of a young me. Should probably lead this week if rejects wants to keep it close, Leo I never would have benched you on crisis, don't listen to mark.
Taz - Pretty underrated pickup, went from an overactive PGH where he was fighting for playtime with Ice and CB, to a better squad where he should start the rest of the matches this season.
Danny - his breakout season, after this season he should never ride the pine again, he's opening battles with kills, and will soon pass his mentor leak.
Cage - playing iffy this season but hasnt played a lot of stat pads, very passive but his aim gets better by the game.
farifax - Should have been marining this whole time, fax is remember nml pub 5 where he'd rape the gift over and over as marine in the south tress.
VC - getting a lot of his skill back but is still far rustier than he should be.
Dp/Mafia - interchangable meds neither one is that far ahead of the other, both could start in hard matches.
Prediction:
BT 48-35
It's going to be close at first but i predict Rejects losing an 8-0 battle around the 10 min mark and then it spirals out of control, might even lead by up to 5 midway through the game. Rejected inexperience will bury them in the end.
