I'm not sure why this turned from a good proposal into a weird manifestation of internet testosterone... I would say that the game has had a ton of good designers over the years and a few great ones. Mizzouse and Palm both named some really good ones. You've also had a good number of people that cared enough about the game to propose some of the ideas that the good/great designers implemented.

From a game health standpoint, I would say the strongest thing that this iteration of Infantry has going for it is a higher "developer per capita" ratio. There are still quite a few people around & involved that understand the editors well enough to build good maps, develop or tweak zones, etc. and it's amazing that those individuals are still willing to put forth the amount of time and effort they have to help the game along to its current state & towards its future state. Axidus is a good example of this in recent weeks with the amount of work he's put into CTF. Mizzouse, Jovan and others for their constant work behind the scenes on the server files. Apollo for the map contributions. Champion for his constant maintenance and re-work on this website which helps drive the entire Infantry community in today's world, etc. etc. etc.

Then there's countless others that are helping to market the product - you mentioned Sav's work with Google that I didn't even know about, you could refer to Zmn's constant Facebook nagging to repopulate the CTF community (at least once or twice), the people that donate numerous times to keep the website and server running, etc.. Even further behind-the-scenes, I'm sure there are other people that are doing work towards the "greater good" of Infantry that most of us are not even aware of...
