The minimum for S8 was 11. Overwatch was the only squad to have 11 because they had 3 225 cost players. WH had 12, everyone else had 13 or 14 members.

While probably partially true - the same could be said if aggressive tiers or salary caps are put in. The idea is to split talent - if the two best players in the league are best buds, they can either play on the same team and crush everyone or play on different teams and have fun playing against each other. I don't think I buy this argument...

DRAFT LEAGUE
A draft league could work - but the captains have to be roughly equal in terms of value (since it's a free first pick). If Champion captains one squad and District captains another, Champion's squad has an immediate advantage.

A draft league has an advantage because it brings in a human element and takes out the need to get the formula right. Basically you use supply/demand to fill out rosters versus hoping that the salaries and salary caps are set the right way so they're not abused. It's an easier format with less room for error (provided captains choose players based on skill/activity and not just their buddies and the captains are all close to the same level in terms of skill).

SALARY LEAGUE
A salary league should work, but you may need to factor in actual stats and performance and build tier blocks that are different enough to make a difference (see posts from kippa/Champion). Example of using statistics would be to come up with some formula similar to the ratings formula that gives points for # of games played (season activity), kills, points, (maybe wins) and takes away points for deaths, (maybe losses). Really impactful players that will show up are obviously better than really impactful players that won't show up... but you would have to find the point where great, unreliable players = good, reliable players (or close).

I've given everyone ratings that reflect their true skill such as champion being the worst player in all of USL.

Last season was the worst I have ever seen in the history of this game, yet you guys decide to do a retarded salary cap again lol.... this game has always had stacked squads since the beginning so why try so hard to change everything? So let's punish good players or people who wanna play with friends because most the population has been shit at this game and can't figure out a 10+ year old 2d game.
