I decided to go back to work on sb but I need a test game from the players and report it back here since I cannot be on a lot anymore. Without having the client source code, I can't correctly get the location of where the ball will land due to very very limited information from the client packets coming into the server so I gave up on the pinches and saves and disabled all the coding related to that. This should help with the ball lag but still need a testing done.

nets are still broke, I played two test games and in the first low kick and high kick weren't scoring and in the second only low kick and high kick were scoring.

Shots are messed up. No shots register at all.

And yes, there was a lil ball lag.

Honestly a new map should be created 4v4 or 3v3 (2 forwards and a goalie) or (2 forwards 1 Defense 1 Goalie)

Smaller in size for our smaller population.

Or make it like usl with RedBlue, and have maps for different sized games.

the ball needs to be fixed before any of this. still doesnt score a good majority of the time.

I dont understand why the ball doesnt act exactly the same as it does in Basketball. There doesn't seem to be the same problems there.

Mizz: Isnt the "score" tile in the basket the same as the tiles in the soccer brawl goal?

I'd take a ghetto soccer brawl with basketball tile inside the net over no soccer brawl any day.

It should all be the same type of tile in the goal/hoop whether its SB, bball or gravball

SoccerBrawl will be as playable as Basketball Zone when the update kicks in (like everything works but saves/pinches). I don't know if mizz wanted to fix saves & pinches first before fixing the problem of scoring a goal, but I went ahead and fixed it by updating it to rely on a crucial line of code mizz wrote for Bball Zone.

So pretty much shots weren't registering if you shot the ball from pitch but entered the crease b4 ball would score. At that point it would register it as a crease because script
would rely on current player's position, and not on player's position when ball was released. Ball script was advanced by mizz to rely on the release position of the ball to register goals. All i did was make sure this was included in soccerbrawl.
