What things would you guys like to see implemented / changed during this off-season while we do our mini SL season and work our way towards the next usl season?

This topic can be used towards class changes / adjustments and or additional rule changes that you might want to propose.

I for one didn't see much AT play this past season and I think theres multiple reasons as to why. 1) You need to hit every single bullet of your 6 bullet clip in order to kill the marine added on top of the pretty long reload time it makes them pretty useless. 2)They also backpeddle slower than a ripper does.

Suggestion: Add 2 more rounds to the AT clip and increase BP speed a little bit. Everything else is fine.

Over all the changes that were made to the rules this past season were pretty well written and avoided any controversy really which was fucking nice. However I do want to revisit the map selection process for home teams etc.

Also if there is anyone that is good with graphics we could discuss adding a Playoff MVP award or any others, but again we need someone whose talented in that aspect.

You could just give AT 100hp instead of armor and then 2 more clips for it to be balanced, giving them more ammo as is would probably be op (nobody would play still but op nonetheless)

Nah I wouldn't give them anymore ammo just the 2 additional rounds to their clip. As for the armor/hp suggestion we can test it out but lets get some more thoughts for sure. I definitely would like to see their backpeddle speed increased a bit though.

Give ripper a bit more mobility, maybe as fast as marine... I know people are going to say it's already OP but if it's so OP was there 2 games played as ripper this season? One being me against some shitters? I think the game gets boring when it's just marine/medic. I know not everyone feels that way but it'd be a nice change of pace if AT/Sniper/Ripper/NAder were viable.

Maybe give LMG a LAW.. and balance that with dropping rounds to 40 and giving them one nade?

Sniper should have pdw as a secondary, not whatever god awful excuse for a gun it has now.

Grenader should probably have a law, since it's the most immobile class in USL at least make it semi-worth playing.

Im all for adjusting the support classes so that more people will play them and find a viable strategy to use them in their line up, which would also promote more competition for the support award which was redefined as a support class award.


As for giving LMG a law im up in the air about it, I say give them a droppable law that they can give to the marines(like medic) but give them a incin grenade

Auto pistol is definitely trash for the sniper in USL. I wouldn't be opposed to trying a PDW however their shots would then stay around 60-65hp. In USL I don't believe a sniper should have the ability to one shot a medic.

More mobility for ripper sounds fine to me.

Nader getting a law on the other hand is another one im unsure of. I do agree we need to make a change for it however im honestly at a loss for how to make it viable at the moment.

Are there any differences between SL and USL Ripper still? I always felt like the SL version fired faster. Was that just me derping or was that true?

Wouldn't mind seeing AT become more regular too. Would increasing the range on their weapon be too OP? I feel like they have to be too close.

If you actually look at the distance between at and AR theyre very close in range I think it'd be too op to increase any further.

As for USL/SL ripper. USL has been buffed to damn near mimic SL ripper.

Kaga id like to see the boost in 40s to SL dmg.

AT-i think it prob needs 2-4 more shots right now you have to hit almost every one of your shots to kill anyone and that is without a medic right now. The backpeddle speed needs to be the same as marine idk why it is so slow. other then that the weapon range and ammo count is fine.

ripper-idk how to fix it

nader-what if we gave nader a rpg like weapon long range mid like 50-60 damage.

The biggest issue I felt this season wasn't anything with classes, but moreso the map rotation. Almost every home team deferred their map choice. What I would like to see is set maps, if you want to rotate it do it on a weekly basis where everyone plays on map A one week and everyone plays on map B the next. That way during the week everyone knows what map to prepare on, and there won't be a defer.

I'd also like to see a playstyle where it's not so campy. Would love to hear suggestions on that, but basically it feels like whoever gets the lead, runs to their base and sits there. All 4 top squads are guilty of this, it makes for a boring game. The most fun I've had for awhile was the Allegiance match where it was just lots of fighting and moving around, and basically not giving a shit.

Edit: Right now there is no real incentive to move out of your base/area if you have the lead, maybe add an ammo depot in an obscure spot that is neutral and give marines less ammo. That way if a squad camps there base with 10 minutes left, the other squad can hold for abit, and fall back to the ammo dump and fully stock up.

I'd be cool with having rotating maps. The only problem is that not every team will have home on a certain map unless it's a double season.

Maybe a double season with 6 squads, and only two maps rotating half way? Not sure if people want Bombs/KR as they were the least picked.

Double seasons get too inactive imo. Even single seasons see a drop-off in activity toward the end. In a double season the drop-off seems to occur sooner.

Not too sure about that bud, this past season activity dropped after about week 2 or 3. This season has probably been one of the most inactive ones in awhile and that's even with "a competitive season"

What if we re-introduced battle rifle the one infantry used in NML and gave it to nader to replace the deagle and gave it a 10round clip, and gave the 40 SL damage.
