The most awkward thing about this season from my perspective was having to schedule a Sunday night around a game where there is a 100% chance we get stomped. Obviously I didn't have to show but did it to support the squad. I would've had more fun and had a more educational experience if we just gave an automatic win to the top squad and then played a PI/NWA mix match or something. Maybe NWA wouldn't have had fun because they like stomping, idk.

You guys just need to get good. Just aim, strafe. Read Champion's post. A match of PI vs NwA is not a 100% stompfest if you just aim and strafe!!! - The logic posted by pretty much just NWA players in this thread

"Playing with your friends" definitely is a cop out. I see mixed sbs all the time but when it comes to playing matches, they want to win. It's simple, just say I don't want to do anything else for the league if it results in losing.

Play 30 minutes with some randoms. It's not the end of the world... unless like Mizz says, winning is all you really care about. Which hey, winning is fun. Won't knock you for it. But isn't having a competitive match even more fun?

i genuinely would not want to play this game if i couldn't play with my friends. most of the time on idc discord we're just making jokes and fuckin around, it's really the only thing that makes logging onto this 20 year old dead game worth anything. sorry you guys don't have that experience.

Obviously those 2 hours become less fun if the new people you're playing with suck or are boring... but it's not exactly that big of a time commitment is it?

I honestly don't care what anyone else does at the end of the day. However it's pretty obvious the league isn't competitive. And expecting the "low tier" players to flip a switch and get good out of nowhere isn't realistic.

So I'm just pointing out the obvious solution of players voluntarily spreading out the talent some.
