Correct me if I'm wrong, but SL was a lot harder to hop than MSL/USL.
Wasn't it a 21 day wait if you left and only 7 day if you got kicked?

Think it was 21/10. Most squads were established and had rosters always filled from the prior season. Other thing was just with the volume of players/squads they always had entrance tourneys for non playoff squads from the season prior. You would have some off season movement but generally it was very minimal. Larger rosters and match format w/ best of 3 generally most people would play every week. SL was definitely the better ran / more stable league.
So let's do anything SL mini season..I was working Sunday nights during the last one 😭

Disagree,
SL was more thought out rule-wise and conceptually better..It was the better league all the way up until Drunk Cossack left as Admin, then it started going downhill. I remember I couldn't take the staff serious when I saw the league admin (armor) cheat in a league match using his mod powers "accidentally".
However USL stands the test of time, it is the longest running infantry league and on SOE had the overall better staff and headstaff (not counting FI). Maybe it was the simplicity of it, the fact that MP & Flaw worked tirelessly to make sure the site was active and up to date.
