Please make sure to use your alias you are squad joined to on this USL website for official matches. It isn't just about stat collection. It also has to do with verifying you are in fact the player and are eligible to play. If you are using a different alias, regardless of reason, you will be treated like an NT player. NT players are not supposed to play if the squad has enough actual squad members online.

While I find it commendable that sometimes opponents want to go "Who cares? Let them play." - rules are rules. Moving forward I will have the referees really place an emphasis on this rule enforcement. Don't get mad at us, you should take pre-emptive measures if you have an issue and reach out to the staff to have it resolved.

From what I heard there was some abuse of the NT system for a couple of seasons. By the time I came back, the rule was already in place that NTs are only to be used if the squad does not have enough of it's own members.

It was known as Sov's loaner program. Every week he would have 4 or 5 of his stacked players that he didnt actually need for his own match to temporarily join another squad to heavily skew that weeks matches and basically control the entire outcome of the season. Basically knocked Rileys squad out of the running for playoffs singlehandedly

Thats why I always rag on DP and Eric's corrupt administrstion, because they were on Sovs squad and let it happen all season in spite of loud protests and it clearly undermining the league

Implementing a rule midway through the season also would of been pretty stupid of us. We addressed it as soon as the season ended. Stop dwelling on the past and move on already.
