Why do they have to be so constricting?

It was always up to the captains to decide these things and it does make a difference in regards to people on the wait list being classified as NT. While it is there to kill the "loaner" program, if joe schmo joins mid week to a squad I am facing that weekend, I do not see any reason why he cannot play that weekend if I am playing them. But that is just me.

Because this league is pretty bipolar and can't decide what they want.

In the earlier seasons of FI we followed the SOE rules of enforcing wait periods/NT rules. Then people complained that it wasn't very inclusive so we didn't enforce wait periods anymore. Then people complained about loaners and squad hoppers so we put it back in. But we modified it so that wait periods are only enforced if a squad has enough members online without them. If they are low on players then the wait periods don't mean anything and they can use those players.

In reality, they were just making sure someone wasn't double squading I don't see the big issue. That was sketchy as fuck. And should have been figured out way beforehand

Week 1 wait periods were voided and refs were more forgiving in regards to rules

if he was playing on a different alias in game, he should have and could have easily requested a name change on site. Either way, next week I would be more strict on every rule.

To all of the people new to this situation it happens all the time when Backs is involved. Refs get used to it and get ready for week 2.

* Remember to use your alias in game it is not the referee's job to make you that is on you.
* Read the rules then understand them.
* If someone is actually afk do not let them go afk in the match arena. Common sense.
