As announced on the Playoff Preview Show, I am going to be hosting a match that I hope will turn into a regular, season-concluding event. This match will be USA VS. CANADA, and I am putting it on the schedule for Sunday, May 19th @ 11:00 PM EST. I am tentatively calling this the "Nation's Cup", and the winning country will retain bragging rights for an entire season, and their country's flag will fly as high as this website's front page will allow (So long as Champ is willing to post it).
Rules will be traditional USL format, 8 v 8, 30 minutes long. Map will be probably put to a vote, although EC and KR will be eliminated from that consideration, so one of the remaining map choices.
SIGN UPS - Are right here. In this thread. If you are interested in playing, please put your in-game alias along with the nation you hail from.
Example: "Romulocks - United States"
I'd like to have enough players involved (12 v 12?) that I can force a substitution at the 15 minutes mark on both teams. But that'll depend on you guys.
So get to it! Sign up now! Let's see what kind of interest there is in a game like this.
Also - if you guys want other/different events, maybe comment here about that as well and we will see if we can accommodate that.
Cheers, friends.
