If we had 12 squads I wouldn't care if the top 6 made it to the playoffs. We have a small player base and we want to grow the league. People need to get off their high horses and start appreciating the activity of every single player or else its lights out for this game.

4-squad play-off / 4-squad botr is the only thing that makes sense from a competition stand point.
Don't beg your way into the play-offs: earn it.

AF kept it closer vs CK then WH did.
Tank kept it close vs IV - WH didn't .. at all.

You're both capable of beating WH, do that and you're a lot closer to being in (though you'll be in a fight with worms and maybe even SA/Legends).

The race for the play-offs is far more interesting then if Armor were to announce 6/8 squads in. Seeding makes no difference (this is a bad argument in a 6/8 squad format) because at the end of the day you're still going to run into CK/IV .. if you've earned the right to play 'em.

Lana, I'm well aware that tank can make playoffs, but that's not what any of this is about. It's about the league, and everyone is too pathetic to realize it. If the last squads are shit, then who gives a fuck if they're in playoffs? If it were upto me, all squads would be in playoffs because so many people invested so much time into what they've done, from bottom to the top.

You have to have competition, though... if you don't agree with that, we can remove all of the referees, make a scrim-only league and stop taking stats. I agree with the arguments that we need to grow the game (do you really think I disagree with that?), but you guys also take this so seriously because you're competing. Competition is what drives online gaming... otherwise we can all pick and plant strawberries because we're playing Farmville 3...

For me, at this point in the game, the satisfaction of winning and competition comes from winning that last game of the season. Getting into the playoffs isn't an end goal for anyone. If the game had 14 or 15 squads or even double the population in public play, it wouldn't even matter. What matters is by these guys going afk after they don't make it and there's still 3 weeks left to the season, it's shitty.

Public will be the most effected by all of this. Public is the meet and greet for all new players. You think if these people stop logging and playing until next season that the games going to obtain new players or a higher player base? It won't. I truly do understand there needs to be competition, but the main end goal at this point in time should be getting a higher population. Yes, I know it's not as fun right now, but think of how it'll help the future. Even if we get 4 new players in the 5 week span, it's better than none.

I never once said you didn't want to better the game. I'm probably one of the few that thank you on the regular for everything you do. This isn't anything to do with you, I'm fighting for the better of the game.

I do understand the views of my squadmates and believe them to have some merit. However, it seems to me that a 4 squad playoff encourages a maximum level of competition and consistency throughout the regular season.

4 squad BOTR ensures that all squads will be included and we wont have to worry about partial inactivity during playoffs. Frankly, I'm surprised this is such a heated debate.

Just my two cents. If we are really just in this to have fun, it shouldn't matter if it's the Championship or BOTR title we are competing for. Probably wont be a popular opinion, but it's mine.
